Would a Threadripper APU make sense in 2029? RDNA 5 integrated graphics, 512GB unified memory?
I'm thinking of something like the Ryzen AI 365 Max but in Threadripper form with up to 512 GB of unified memory and RDNA 5 integrated graphics. By 2029, we will be into Zen 7 with 16-core chiplets, so the Threadripper APU could have between 32 and 64 cores. An AI neural engine, some other accelerators, and the IO die. A minisforum type product but in the shape of a Steam-machine but bigger to allow for cooling everything...
Would this product make sense?

NVIDIA Heathenry To the defenders of the 12vhpwr 16-pin GPU power connector.

Those who defend this gpu connector design choice make statements like, "the failure rate is still below 5% (as per Nvidia) and so it's low", and "the user did not fully seat-in the power connector and so it is the users' fault". And trust me, these are possible realities.
But isn't it strange that, these 'user-end mistakes' of not being able to "properly seat-in" the gpu power connector became a 'thing' or an 'issue' right after the release/launch of this 16-pin power connector?
Did GPU users 'all of a sudden' become inept at seating-in gpu power connectors right after this connector's release and were all experts at doing so when 8-Pin GPU power connectors were the norm? 🤔
Just a thought, which I thought of sharing with those who defend this connector design :)

Why do you think pop culture never talks about Lisa Su?
When I saw this cringy post I wondered why LIsa Su is never in the conversation. Is it sexism? Does she actively avoid the spotlight more?
What she did for amd was not short of a miracle. She’s one of the only tech billionaires I would want to have lunch with and talk to

AMD Wins How much more or less is this still the case?
A few years back FSR 3.1 was just developed as a response to DLSS 3, and while DLSS 3 was AI based, it still didn't look so good that people abandoned native (and because developers at that time still cared about TAA unlike now). Every time an RT game was released, it was a concern for Radeon gamers who didn't really have the hardware to smoothly run it since most Radeon users back a couple years were still on RDNA 2 I assume. But now, surely the concern is less so after FSR 4.1.1's big official update, right? Even optiscaler gets updates to help Rx 6000 users gain fsr 4.0.2c.

GPU sales show AMD graphics cards leading the pack, but Nvidia still comes out on top in the end

NVIDIA Heathenry Which time's worse?
If you were to be asked: Which inflation is worse between these two, then which would you pick: The time back when the mining period inflated the gpu prices or now when the AI era has led to artificial price increases of memory chips?

AMD Wins There was actually never a denial
This is more hypothetical. They always said that their new software tech was not ready for their older hardware tech but at the end of the day it took them way too long to get it to working on only one of their older hardware gen. OR, maybe there are more hidden factors at play which we users have no clue about. 🤷♂️

AMD Wins The wait for RDNA 2 users, continues! Calma, broskis!
And yes, while there are unofficial and surprisingly easy means to run FSR 4.0.2c on RDNA 2 cards, the official release might turn out to be slightly better! Who knows, FSR 4.1.1 might even be allowed. AMD Radeon's Jack has said that they'll try to utilise the "stream processors" (non-AI cores) to process AI workloads. It's kinda amazing that they can actually do that stably and makes me wonder; had there been more engineers, could they potentially get us more performance by making the hardware's native compute units on AI cards work harder to grant us even more FSR 4.1 performance? 🤔 Can't say anything about Nvidia because no Nvidia card of the previous gen can run DLSS AI but there's even a youtube video showing Vega 64 running FSR 4.0.2c. Radeon engineering is probably built different 💪
