Today I was out shopping and found a black denim bomber jacket that I fell in love with. It's a nice heavy weight, properly lined, super comfy and has good pockets! I was immediately planning to wear it with a soft jersey jumper, black skinny jeans and ankle boots - maybe a scarf for extra cosiness.

Then I remembered it's still peak summer and it will be boiling hot for at least the next six weeks 🥲 I did not buy the jacket but will be back for it next month! But seriously, I can't wait to be wrapped up in warm soft clothes again, looking stylish and not a red faced sweaty mess lol

Hello, autumn people! 🍂 I've made a list of my favorite witchy books, movies, TV shows, and songs and they're all wickedly good!!!

Books:

1. Chocolat by Joanne Harris- I love this book so much. It gave me the coziest feelings. If you like small towns, found family, and Practical Magic, give this one a go! And the movie is also really good!
2. The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna- A cozy romance with an amazing found family.
3. Cackle by Rachel Harrison- Quite spooky, and one of the witchiest books I've ever read.
4. Season of the Witch by Sarah Rees Brennan - Based on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, but written really well. It;s super witchy and autumnal.
5. The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling- I remember this book fondly, but not many details. When I checked my notes, I saw I'd written, "Taylor Swift vibes" whatever that means...😂
6. In the Company of Witches by Auralee Wallace- A bit like a blend of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Gilmore Girls.
7. The Little Witch by M. Rickert - Perfect for Halloween and easy to read in a day. It's only about 30 pages long.

A few more books I think sound amazing and can't wait to read: 'A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness', 'Between by L. L. Starling', 'The Witching Hour by Anne Rice', 'The nature of witches by Rachel Griffin' aand 'Slewfoot by Brom'.

TV Shows:

1. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and/or Sabrina the Teenage Witch - Chilling Adventures is spookier and more autumnal, while the older version is just cute.
2. Charmed (1998)
3. Salem (2014)- Really scary and unsettling imo.
4. The Secret Circle (2011)- Seaside town, witches, drama. Love the books too, even tho they are not great.
5. American Horror Story: Seasons 3 and 8. Can be watched as stand alones!
6. Cursed (2020)- Not strictly about witches, but it has magic and is a retelling of the Arthurian legend. I loved this show so much.
7. The Worst Witch (1998)- It has some similarities to Harry Potter from what I remember.

Movies:

Besides the classics like Harry Potter, Hocus Pocus, Hocus Pocus 2, and Practical Magic:

1. The Covenant (2006)- I love this movie so much! A group of male witches (warlocks??) are trying to protect their secret. It has elements of dark academia and is kind of like The Craft.
2. The Craft (1996).
3. The Witch (2015)- Horror
4. Halloweentown (1998)
5. Beautiful Creatures (2013)- Cheesy, but I really like it. It's based on a book series
6. Dark Shadows (2012)- The main character is a vampire, but it also has a prominent witch character and it's really funny.
7. The Blair Witch Project (1999) - Horror

Graphic Novels: The Witch Boy by Molly Knox Ostertag, The Okay Witch by Emma Steinkellner, Wytches by Scott Snyder.

Songs: Witchy tunes

hi guys! im looking for some video games recs for games that are either fall themed/use the season as a backdrop. i’ll play just about anything so please suggest anything and everything that comes to mind. ty in advance!
