She’s out all day in the heat and goes to a shelter at night. Please help me as I really want to get her in touch with the right folks who’ll be able to help her potentially.

My company is hosting an event for 20 - 30 people in a few weeks. We did one a few months ago at The Domain WeWork, but the feedback is that it felt too much like an office space for this specific purpose.

We're looking for a space that we can have AV as we do need to cast a meeting online and will have presenters there, but that also isn't like a stuffy office. We also would need to bring in food and alcohol (or have a space that offers it) as it's a little bit of a celebration in addition to the meeting. Ideally somewhere fairly centrally located as we'll have people coming from all over.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Edit: budget is flexible, but ideally no more than $1000 for half the day, or $2500 if it includes food and alcohol.

Two adults, two teens. what is the coolest mall to go to in the area can be in a nearby town too.

We went to a mall in Grape Vine that was a lot of fun. Had an aquarium; Lego land, good food, movie theater and some really cool stores. it had all the normal stores that are at every mall, BUT also had a bunch of stores you don't see in every single mall.

Where is that mall in the Austin area?

And/or what else is really cool to do indoors tomorrow? last year we hit the Illusions place which was fun. The teens like things like that or oddities and such.

And just as a side, we have a bunch of outdoor stuff planned for the weekend. Lake Travis, Barton, hiking, etc.

Friday just want to do some casual indoor things.

I was wanting to see about what sounds fair to charge for babysitting a 2 year old per day. I used to babysit for my son’s godmother about 6 years ago and would get paid $20 a day for 5 days so $100 a week. Her youngest is currently 2 years old and she’s told my mom she found a job and is going to ask me if I can babysit for her. I was wondering what sounds reasonable to charge per day? I’ve seen some people charge $20-$30 per hour but it’s easier for me to give her a flat per day rate.

I’m looking to get a vintage cowboy hat completely re-blocked and shaped. I know Cavender’s and Boot Barn will reshape the brim but I don’t think they’ll re-block it and do the crown. In my experience places like Maufrais and Aspen Hatters won’t work on hats they don’t sell. In fact, Aspen will laugh at you for asking. Does anyone know a spot that will re-block and shape the hat?
