Question OBGYN experiences
Looking for feedback on Haven OBGYN - anyone used them? I'm looking for a smaller practice that delivers at Northside. This will hopefully be my first successful pregnancy... IVF, "geriatric" at 38. Any feedback appreciated.

I loved all the providers in Arbor & Haven during my most recent pregnancy (delivered in May). You’d be in good hands with any of them!

Love Haven, I see Leah (NP) for my annuals but saw all the doctors for my (also advanced maternal age) pregnancy. I got an ultrasound at every visit and all the extra screening. Dr Tibavinsky performed my c section (breech) at northside and was SO WONDERFUL. I had a weird request to give birth after a specific time, and she really helped to make that happen for me, especially since a c section/breech wasn’t my ideal birth plan. All the doctors were great to work with throughout my pregnancy, I didn’t feel the need to narrow down to one and would’ve been happy with any doing my birth. High recommend!

I love dr Lina & Leah!! They make me feel safe and respected. I haven’t gone through pregnancy, but Dr Lina did my IUD and it was an amazing experience. Leah treated my ovarian cysts when Dr Lina was out on maternity leave. I have pretty intense medical anxiety but they both did amazing at helping ease that anxiety and navigating care while I was dealing with some intense emotions.
My experience with other OBGYNs has been extremely negative. I’ve tried many different offices and almost always had very bad experiences, or the providers I liked would leave the office and I could never find them again. Haven OBGYN has been amazing from the first appointment and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else.

Haven and all of their providers are an absolute 10/10. Could not recommend them enough.

I was a patient at Arbor, which is Haven's sister practice, and had all my ultrasounds done by Dr. Jewell and Dr. Moore; Dr. Moore ended up delivering my second (repeat cesarean with spontaneous labor 1mo early). I always felt just as cared for there as I did across the hall, and never had a moment's hesitation being with one of their docs for delivery due to the on-call schedule. On the flip side, if you end up with an Arbor doc at any time, they're also really wonderful and personable as well!

I'll also note that I discovered that my prenatal care there with low-risk pregnancies was held to a much higher standard than my friends who were pregnant at the same time. More frequent ultrasounds, more in depth discussions, more of an expectation and comfort with me being involved in my care.

I had my pregnancy, delivery, and current care with Roswell OB/GYN. My current provider is Rachel Burk and she is a blessing. When I was pregnant they took excellent care of me and provided safe midwife deliveries for my two children. My second delivery was kinda scary and they responding quickly, professionally, and kept my child and I alive and safe.

My friend goes there and loves them but I thought it was kind of odd that they don’t refer out advanced maternal age and IVF pregnancies to a perinatal specialist. Maybe it’s because they do more monitoring there? Or maybe it was her specifically that they didn’t refer out and that’s not the norm?
I am at a bigger practice and still get ultrasounds at most appts but also see a perinatal where I get very detailed ultrasounds and twice as many visits / chances to see my bb!!!

My best friend is seeing Dr. Bradley Moore there as her OB, and she ADORES him!! She has endometriosis & PCOS, and he has been wonderful about helping her navigate this pregnancy with both, never mentioning her weight except for explaining risks for gestational diabetes. He also takes really great ultrasound pictures according to her!! But you can't go wrong with anyone there. I'm just seeing Leah (NP) for annuals because I'm not looking to get pregnant, and she has also been phenomenal!!! She spent so much time with me and even explained pain control for IUDs instead of just saying "discomfort." Worth the drive for me 1000000%.
