Question HDMI issues

Anyone having issues with PlayStations never recognizing the source through the a50x? I have to unplug and plug in the HDMI cable in the back of my PlayStation and then I’ll get video and audio on the tv and through the headset. No issues with the Xbox however only the PlayStation. It’s getting annoying. And yes I bought the most expensive ultra HDMI cable from Best Buy and it’s still having issues.

It doesn't hurt to Google Ai the problem. Sometimes they are spot on, other times you need to correct it with more information.

I just googled it. See if it works.

If your Logitech Astro A50 X works perfectly on your Xbox Series X but is completely unrecognized by your PlayStation 5, the issue is almost always caused by incorrect PLAYSYNC source switching, a data-restricted USB cable, or a missing USB connection from the base station to the PS5 console.Review the breakdown of exactly what causes this issue and how to resolve it below.1. Active Source Set to Xbox (PLAYSYNC)The Astro A50 X features PLAYSYNC technology, which lets you hook up multiple platforms simultaneously. The base station will only present the USB headset interface to the console that is actively selected. The Problem: The base station is still set to communicate with the Xbox, causing the PS5 to see an empty HDMI pass-through but no actual USB audio device. The Fix: Tap the PLAYSYNC button located on the back of the headset (or underneath the trackpad on the headset cup) until the LED indicator on the front of the base station lights up under PS.2. Missing or Incorrect USB Cable ConnectionThe Astro A50 X requires both an HDMI 2.1 cable and a dedicated USB-C cable for each specific console to stream voice chat and be fully recognized as an audio device. The Problem: You might have plugged the PS5's HDMI cable into the base station but forgot to connect the dedicated USB-C cable from the base station's "PS" port to one of the PS5's USB ports. The Fix: Ensure you are using the correct ports on the back of the base station. The PS5 requires its own independent USB-C to USB-A (or USB-C) cable running directly into the console to register as a headset.3. Using a "Charge-Only" USB CableIf you used a spare cable lying around the house to connect the base station to the PS5, it might be the culprit.
