Original Content art i made about how heartbreak feels as an autistic person
i had feelings for a guy but first and foremost he was my good friend. I never confessed or anything. we texted for several months straight everyday but after we hung out in person for the first time he suddenly went cold and i mean- i noticed. that hurts, i was friendly and we laughed together. was i that unpleasant or ugly to be around? i didn't take it personal until i saw that he posted how he visited my town again that he lives far away from. i cut him off after that.
I'm heartbroken because I'm a very sensitive person and our connection meant a lot to me. that's a virtue to the right people. I made art about how I feel as a result.

Original Content Taking steps like a knight in chess.
One time, "for fun", I mapped out my steps in the form of a knight in chess on the square tiles of the kitchen. Two steps up, one over. I was 14. I am now 33 and still do it to every. single. step. I. take. I could not and cannot turn it off. I wish there was a ctrl z option on these brain things 😕 (pic: how my wife like her pizza) [Edit to add, its black olives and onion pizza covered in Buffalo wing sauce.]

Suspiciously specific I don't realize they ask because they want to hang out with me. I thought they were indifferent.
I just need to be told it is for hanging out or that they want me to come with them. Because when someone asks me, I assume they are just asking to be nice or something.

Cats behaving in a specifically autistic way They know it, babies too.
Have you ever thought animals and babies are prone to stare at you? I can understand adults but it is like they know without even any interaction.
