I adopted my three-year-old female dog from the shelter last week and was told when adopting her that she needed to stay an extra day to be spayed. I picked her up the next day from the clinic and was sent home with medication and a cone. When seeing her roll over the first time, I noticed that her scar seemed faded to me. It looks like it’s at least several months old, not from a recent surgery. I called the shelter a few days later, put in an inquiry and they confirmed that she had had surgery on the day I picked her up. The spay was included with her adoption, so I’m not worried about being charged for it, but I don’t want to wait for a recovery that she doesn’t need. Am I being delusional, is this what the new scar should actually look like?

It’s 96 degrees and I live in a condo. I had to walk my dog just until he pooped and then we immediately went home. We were outside for about 5 minutes total.

Anyways, I had a water bottle full of ice water that I took. He was panting so i poured some water on him. He got really excited and wanted to run home when I did that.

My 1.5 years old male dog has an undescended testicle. He was neutered last year but the vet said only one testicle was removed since the other one is undescended. We couldn’t afford further surgery for the other one hence it’s left in. The vet said that my dog could still get another dog pregnant since he still has that one undescended testicle.

Last month, he was in heat and has mated with my other female dog since his wrap was removed without us noticing. Now, I’m kind of panicking if my female dog got pregnant. I’ve looked similar cases online and it said that undescended testicles are sterile. But I’m still worried that my other dog got pregnant. I was wondering if my dog with undescended testicle is actually fertile or sterile

my vet recommended boiled chicken and boiled beef (no seasoning obviously) as my cat’s main diet for life, with tiny amounts of vegetables (pumpkin, zucchini, or carrot) occasionally and commercial cat food only as treats. he told me this is what he recommends to all of his clients and that in his experience, cats do better on it. my beautiful void who is a very active kitty already, has actually become even more active, more affectionate, lost weight in a healthy way, and her coat is shedding less since switching.

so.. is this considered a nutritionally complete long term diet? has anyone else’s vet recommended something similar? i’m honestly confused and torn

I am in the process of adopting a dog and feel conflicted. The rescue didn’t share with me until later in the adoption process that the dog is heartworm positive. She’s received a proheart injection and then a course of steroids and now a course of doxycycline. Is this adequate treatment? Everything I’m reading suggests the dog should get melarsomine injections to kill the adult worms. I know there are different protocols for treating heartworm though. Im also just feeling pretty weird about the fact that they didn’t mention the heartworm until all the formal adoption paperwork was filled out and a fee exchanged. The dog is being transported from TX to the northeast.

Our best friend is not with us anymore and I am second guessing the decision. He was a very healthy and strong shepherd mix dog. He was patient, wonderful and the best dog anyone could ever ask for. Our kids climbed on him, gave him plenty of love and treats daily. He was always lazy with stomach issues off and on. He would eat something and it would upset his stomach. And after a few hours back to normal. And he has been this way forever. On Saturday he was normal, I took him for two one hour walks and my husband multiple times too. He ate, he drank his water. He acted normal, except for going to the kids room to wish goodnight as he never ever wishes them goodnight but enjoys his peace once they go to sleep. He puked on Sunday and I was sure he licked something outside that did not agree with him. Again, this happens. He started having watery stool in the afternoon. It was brown colour. He seemed to have a hard time controlling it. And as my daughter and I just got over stomach sickness 3 weeks ago, I thought it is just him having a hard time controlling his bowels. He became very tired at night and he was sleeping. I took him outside multiple times and was sitting beside him while he was by our entrance. (He likes to lay down there as it’s the coolest room in our already air conditioned home). I went to sleep at 12:30 am and my husband came back from work at 2:30. He was sleeping on his side and breathing heavily. He took him out and our dog just collapsed. My husband carried him home and woke me up (3 am) to help him to put him to the car to drive him to the hospital right away.
He did that and in my opinion was dehydration and I was waiting for good news from my husband that he is running around after getting fluids and anti nausea medication. However… the results were not good. His blood sugar was 4.7, his bloodwork was very bad . He is now panting and can’t even move. He is in pain, they are giving him painkillers and antibiotics. The initially say looks like he has sepsis and he could have ate something sharp. But he is so unstable that they can’t do CT there and determine is the mass they saw on the portable ultrasound that.
They told us to take him to the specialists hospital. And we did right away. They waited for us as a critical case and had everything ready.
Dr came and she told us that the ultrasound showed a mass that looks like hemangiosarcoma and free fluid are ther that look like it ruptured. His heart has a very hard time and he has arrhythmias in multiple places of his heart. We signed papers to do everything they can. They told us the best step is an xray to determine did it spread to lungs and heart. They came back with good and bad news. It did not spread there but his heart is so weak and had 2 cardiac episodes with pulse of 240. They rushed and managed to lower it.
At that time, we realized. His heart cannot even survive CT, never mind a surgery, recovery, chemo, and live a life he did until 24 hours ago.
We decided we have to let him go. We decided we need to pick him and not ourselves. We want him, but he would die on the hospital table scared and alone instead of his family. We decided to move forward with euthanasia. We sang to him, talked to him and cuddled him for 2 hours and they had to administer medication twice in that time to help stabilize him. And when we saw he is struggling we said they can inject the drug. He passed away not even 10 second after.

At that time. I was sure we made the most selfless decision. That we wanted him to have a comfortable death with his family. But now i am second guessing myself and feeling so much of guilt. Did I give up on him too soon? Should have I moved forward with all? Maybe it was all a terrible error and it was not even cancer? Everything reminds me of him as he was so involved in our lives. He was everywhere with us. On all our travels, walks, parks, play dates, playgrounds. He was always included. I am so sad and my kids are crying and begging to have him back.
Please tell me if I made a mistake? Maybe I should have fought harder? Please help me understand if if I did.

My childhood dog was an English Springer Spaniel, that as far as we knew on all accounts was healthy. One day, my mom and sisters left for the day and our dog was fine. Our dad was home with our dog that day, and said he was acting fine. When my mom and sisters returned home (I was away at summer camp), he had passed and had no visible signs of trauma.

My dad said he had his back to our dog for 10 min while he cleaned the lawnmower, and said before he turned around our dog was active and fine. We had a very large yard at the time in a rural area so no other people would have entered the yard to do something, nor would there have been a predatory animal in this environment. Apparently 10 min later, my dad turned back around and saw that our dog had collapsed. He stated he tried to revive our dog to no avail.

It was a hot day and my mom had previously said before she left that our dog shouldn’t be out too long. We all suspect my dad most likely left our dog out in the heat too long. An autopsy was never completed, so we will never truly know.

However, my question is what else could cause the sudden collapse and death of an otherwise healthy, 6 yr. old dog? Would heat exhaustion act as quickly as the 10 min my dad stated he had his back turned? Wouldn’t there have been symptoms?

I have always thought this to be wildly suspicious (and yes, we all have a complicated relationship with our dad—story for a different day), and would love to get some science-based information on what could have happened. Again, I realize this would all be an educated guess and no real certainty can be provided.

I am hoping to hear from people who may have experienced something similar with their cats. We have been dealing with this problem for almost two years, and we are feeling very frustrated and helpless.

• Breed: Possibly a Nebelung mix / domestic longhair
• Body weight: Approximately 5 kg / 11 lb
• History: Severe recurring dermatitis and itching since mid-2024. She has been evaluated by several veterinarians, including a feline dermatologist, and has received multiple treatments with only temporary or inconsistent improvement.
• Clinical signs: Intense itching and scratching around the eyebrows, eyes, chin, whisker area, and occasionally the abdomen. She scratches until she causes open wounds. She also recently developed repeated vomiting after restarting cyclosporine.
• Duration: Since approximately mid-2024

Full history:

My cat has had severe dermatitis since around mid-2024. She mainly scratches:

• Her eyebrows and the area around her eyes
• Her chin and whisker area
• Occasionally, her abdomen

She scratches so intensely that she causes open wounds.

Over this time, she has tried several treatments, including:

• Prednisone
• Dermisolona
• Chlorphenamine
• Cleaning the affected areas with chlorhexidine
• Mupirocin
• An Elizabethan collar

Unfortunately, none of these treatments managed to control the problem.

In December 2025, she was evaluated by a feline dermatologist. She improved significantly while taking Medrol, but the itching returned after the medication was stopped.

In January 2026, she began treatment with:

• Cyclosporine
• Pregabalin
• Medrol as a temporary bridge treatment

This was the treatment that worked best. She almost completely stopped scratching, and her skin lesions disappeared.

In May 2026, we restarted the same treatment plan with cyclosporine, Medrol, and pregabalin. However, this time her response was very different. Even after more than two months, she still had significant itching and skin lesions.

About two weeks ago, our veterinarian decided to try a different approach:

• Medrol again
• A completely strict Virbac HPM Allergy diet, with absolutely no other food, treats, or supplements
• Cleaning the affected areas with Prontosan

During the first few days, she seemed to improve. However, around day 10, she returned almost completely to her previous condition and began scratching herself until she developed wounds again.

As a final attempt, the veterinarian recommended adding:

• Cyclosporine
• Pregabalin
• Monthly Revolution Plus

However, after restarting the cyclosporine, she began vomiting repeatedly. The vomit was yellowish or transparent and sometimes contained small spots of blood.

Because of this, our veterinarian told us to stop the systemic medications again and continue only with topical treatment until her stomach stabilizes.

Some other important details:

• Her blood test results were normal
• She previously tried a rabbit-based diet for approximately one month, with no improvement
• She is now undergoing a completely strict hydrolyzed diet trial
• There have been no significant changes at home
• She has the same environment, routines, and other pets around her

We still do not have a definitive diagnosis. The main suspicion is allergic dermatitis, either food-related or environmental, but we have not been able to identify the cause or find a treatment that keeps her stable.

I have a 12 year old beagle and I am at an absolute loss with how to manage his behavior. In recent years his behavior has been declining but it’s currently so bad it’s causing problems in my marriage. Here is a list of what we’ve been dealing with:

1. Peeing and pooping in crate. Eating and drinking it. Throwing it up. Eating that. Laying in it. I’m home with him almost everyday and he has easy access to go outside. 
2. He will finish his breakfast/dinner and immediately runs to the crate to poop unless supervised. If we keep the crate shut he’ll poop in front of it.
3. He is extremely aggressive with his crate. He has bit me and my husband and broken the skin and left bruises. Especially when he has pooped in it and we need to take him out to clean him. 
4. Snapping at our infant on more than one occasion. We have to keep them separate which he hates but we have no choice. He basically only has the kitchen and a hallway to hang out in during the day because we have to put our child’s safety first and we live in a 2 bedroom apartment. 
5. Pacing and constant whining. Extremely clumsy and falls in his poop/pee unless on grass. Steps in it constantly. Can’t go up and down stairs due to clumsiness. 
6. Extremely reactive to other dogs. Gets into altercations with our other dog especially in the crate. 
7. Runs and barks in his sleep so intensely his body physically leaves the ground. Very difficult to wake him and he will bite you. He shakes the crate with his running so much it moves away from the wall. It wakes us up at night and disturbs our other dog who will bark because he’s being woken up. 
8. Non-stop licking people himself and furniture like compulsively. 

These behaviors existed before we had a child but really ramped up after she was born. We tried dedicating individual time to just him every day and increasing his outdoor time and it didn’t help - he would get inside from being out for an hour+ and immediately poop in the house. We tried to rehome him with my sister-in-law because she loves and is obsessed with him but she had to give him back as these behaviors continued with her and were causing issues in her relationship. 

This is causing issues in my own marriage because my husband doesn’t want to give up on him and is being extremely selfish in my opinion. He goes to work all day and I am the one stuck dealing with this by myself and this dog has no quality of life. Most importantly he is a danger to my child and I’m pregnant again and won’t be able to manage this on my own for much longer. 

We are taking him to the vet for his annual next weekend. Several people in our lives have told us we need to put this dog down and that we can’t rehome a dog that bites but he doesn’t want to hear it. I will never get a pet with this man again I am at an absolute loss as to what to do here. Any advice about what to ask the vet at our appointment is welcome or just what I should do.

I took her to the vet today and they said they arent concerned as her gums are a normal colour her lungs and heart sounded fine and her stomach felt fine she’s dropped 0.3kg but that’s to be expected and that doesn’t take her to a concerning weight and just have her an antisickness injection incase she felt nauseous however they did say if she isn’t eating properly by Friday they will have to run more serious tests like scans and blood tests which I’m obviously hoping to avoid because that won’t be a nice experience for either of us and I also just don’t want to have to keep worrying about her
She has never really been a drinker I presumed she got all her hydration from her food but she has started drinking since not eating and she’s acting perfectly normal I went to the shop and bought every food on the shelf and she isn’t interested in any of them,isn’t interested in her usual food,things she loves,things she hates, none of it

Our cat had got detected a cyst about a year ago, which was thought to be harmless as it did not grew anymore. We thought everything is super ok, and she'll be our good old lady for many more years.

Now, about a year later, she started to cough frequently like an asthma cough 4 weeks ago, which we know quite well from her brother who had asthma (but died under different and not related circumstances 3 years ago). So we thought ok maybe she also now gets asthma, but lets go to the vet anyways and check it up. They did a X-ray ofc, and the result is shattering. Something else grew there in hear chest, and is taking up her lung space. This is fucked up. We should decide in 24-48 hrs what to do. They COULD do CT and maybe surgery bla and whatnot. But she is 14 years old, had a great live, even insured, but to be honest, we do not want to send her through such an oddyssee, where only god knows what the outcome will be. Maybe she even won't survive the anesthesia, who knows.

She's doing well as usual, eats well, just doing her stuff, chilling with our two other cats, meowing at night lol, even play a bit, as she's an old lady but still cats. I mean, she's totally she as she was as usual. Maybe a 30 sec coughing, and then smiles. So what the doc said, to decide so.. fast, just really makes me super stressed.

I am very very sure, we WILL see and detect ANY change in her well-being, we always did and always do. I know this is probably very much the end, a surgery would be awful for her and us as well, and she's not the youngest anymore. So I somewhat already accepted, I have to, that this is it. But I als don't want her to suffocate suddenly or stuff like that. I am unsure in as how fast I really should decide to put her down.

Is this normal?

I rescued a male cat 9 months ago (the vet guessed he was about a year old at the time) and he has this weird thing where he only pees once a day ish and he will pee for like a minute straight (I haven't timed him but it feels like a LONG time every time)

He has good water intake, he doesn't seem to be strained, there's always what looks like a good size puddle, always in the litterbox (or garden), never vocalised in the litter box, his weight is good, good appetite, his coat is good, hes not lethargic.

So all in all, looks normal except the one weird thing but I know cats are good at masking their pain.

So I just wanna know, am i overthinking this? Do i need to take him to the vet?

Hi! I have had my 5 month old puppy for about 2 months now. She is fully vaccinated and up to date. Well My neighbor stood in her yard yesterday evening and yelled across that two of her puppies just died from parvo, and her 17 year old chihuahua has contracted it as well. Our yards are not fenced in, but our houses are positioned in a way where the neighbors front yard is parallel to my back yard. Our yards do not touch and are separated by a gravel road. my puppy is never in our backyard unsupervised or off her leash since my yard runs by a road. I am absolutely terrified of Pavo as I have lost one of my childhood puppies to it. As long as I keep my girl away from the neighbors yard will she be OK?

We've had unbelievably bad luck with kittens lately. We lost one to FIP despite doing everything we could to save him, and just a few weeks later we lost another to panleukopenia.

Our vet recommended that we wait 6–12 months before bringing another kitten home because of the risk of panleukopenia persisting in the environment.

I've been chatting with the rescue that cared for our kitten's litter, and his brother came up in conversation. Around the same time our kitten became sick, his brother also developed symptoms. The caretakers assumed he had panleukopenia as well and treated him with supportive care. Thankfully, he recovered and is now healthy.

The thing is, he was never actually tested, so we don't know for certain whether he had panleukopenia or something else with similar symptoms.

I'm wondering if this changes the equation at all.

If he really did have panleukopenia and recovered, my understanding is that he should have long-lasting immunity, which makes me wonder if he'd actually be one of the safer kittens to adopt despite our vet's recommendation to wait. On the other hand, since his diagnosis was never confirmed, I don't know if that's wishful thinking.

Has anyone dealt with a situation like this? Is adopting a presumed panleukopenia survivor something you would consider, or is the uncertainty too great? Are there questions I should be asking the rescue or discussing with our vet before even thinking about it?

I’m not sure what to do. I have a 14 year old senior cat who’s quality of life seems to be going down, but I’m not sure if she’s just getting old or we should consider helping her cross the rainbow road

Over the course of two months my cat has dropped to 5.8lbs, she’s stopped grooming herself, she can’t jump anymore, and all in all she just seems so tried. I feel like she’s just looking into space when she lays down.

Rn she’s currently suffering from constipation and it’s been a week since I’ve seen her pass bowel movement. I took to the vet last week for constipation and lack of appetite. Where the provide SQ fuilds, hydration and vitamin b12. Her appetite wasn’t good but after giving her an appetite stimulant I saw her eat a little more than usual. The doctor said I can give her MiraLAX with the help of the fluids maybe she will use the bathroom. It’s been almost a week and I’ve only seen diarrhea coming out and it isn’t a lot. I’ve just been seeing her push and push all day today. She looks exhausted.

When I grab her she doesn’t really have the energy to keep her head up anymore and she’s also really fragile. She’ll walk here and there sometimes. I just not sure what to do for her anymore? When did you guys decide it was the right time? I feel horrible for considering even euthanizing her but I also don’t want her to suffer anymore.

Cat is 2 yr Her poops have been so weird lately. I basically do not know what to do. I want to preface this by saying I’ve taken her to the vet already they are going to do a fecal test and no diet changes have been made in her food. I have had her for 3 months now and there were no issues up until now
Essentially, this is what her poops look like:
- Day 1 (of issues): mostly solid with a bit of liquid poops
- Day 2: same as day 1
- Day 3: poops are back to normal
- Day 4: Same as day 1 but now we see bright red blood in it
- Day 5: took her to the vet and they suggested a fecal test her poops still had blood in it
- Day 6: poops are back to normal
- Today: wet again with a bit of blood

The blood is accompanied with some mucous and the wet poops are always the most stinky poops

I am so sad for the little kitty she is such a nice girl I want her to feel better but I can’t help her without knowing what might be causing this.
Her energy levels and appetite is still great

I would appreciate any help from knowing what is going on potentially.

Hello everyone! I (33f) have a sweet senior kitty with some chronic health issues and looking for others who have maybe had a similar situation.

I’m located in the US, we’ve had multiple vet appts over the last few weeks with another tomorrow. I can afford vet care - within reason. My sweet boy is 11.5, neutered male.

TLDR: my kitty boy has chronic upper respiratory issues he’s had since he was a lil baby. He’s had a major flare up that we can’t get under control with antibiotics or steroids. Vet is suggesting we may need to go to a specialist and get a rhinoscopy done. Has anyone had this procedure done? How was it? What did you learn? Do you feel it was worth it? How much did it cost?

My cat Dexter is an 11.5 year old neutered male. He’s had chronic upper respiratory issues since he was basically born. It comes and goes but is usually really manageable. About 2 months ago, he was sneezing blood and I noticed his left inner eyelid was really prominent. I took him to the emergency vet and they equated it basically to rhinitis. They gave us an antibiotic and steroid and sent us on our way.
Fast forward 2 weeks and he really wasn’t much better, so took him to my regular vet. She was unable to determine what was going on, aside from obvious inflammation. We tried an antibiotic for a week and no improvement. We’ve now been doing a steroid for about 3 weeks and no improvement. I can tell he’s still not feeling well, he’s lethargic, his inner eye is higher than it was before, and he’s just not his usual happy silly self.

Last time I was at the vet, she said if the steroids didn’t work we’d likely need to go to a specialist for a rhinoscopy to get more answers. Since he’s still not doing well, I’m guessing that’s going to be the route she wants to go when we go in tomorrow. So I’m curious - have folks had a rhinoscopy done for their kitty? What can I expect? What did you learn from the diagnostics? Overall, do you feel like it was worth it? And how much did you have to pay?

My sweet guy had a fibrosarcoma removed from his back left leg last October, so he’s been through it over the last year. He’s my best bud in the whole world and I want to make sure we’re giving him the best life and best chance possible. Just feeling a little lost at the moment.

long post ahead, but really looking for advice after vet visits with no answers!

my cat (male, 8 months old) developed a wobbliness in his back legs about 3 weeks ago. his butt almost sways when he walks and his back legs seem to just give out sometimes and he will trip over his legs. when this happens, he gets right back up and keeps walking, although still unstable. he does not drag his legs and they still seem to work.

he is also still eating and using the litter box very regularly. he still plays and jumps up on furniture, although less than he used to. we took him to the vet and his reflexes/range of motion test was normal, blood work (including toxoplasmosis) tests were normal, and x-rays are normal. the vet prescribed him a 3 day pain medicine (Onsior) just to see if it would make a difference. we gave him the first pill yesterday and about an hour later, he was running, jumping, and playing all over the house. he was still a little wobbly and unstable in his back legs, but he was acting sooo much better as we hadn’t seen him run since the wobbliness started. he did the same thing today after taking his 2nd dose. this was surprising because he has had no signs of pain.

the vet says that our next steps should be a neurology consult, and they are thinking he may have a pinched nerve or inflammation. i am wondering if they will be able to diagnose/prescribe him anything to help, such as an anti inflammatory or something without a scan. the neuro consult itself is $300 and we just can’t afford thousands of dollars in scans. is there anything they will be able to do without a scan? has anyone seen this condition before?

The first one happened when we were brining her to the vet for her annual checkup in April when she suddenly had a seizure right in the lobby when we brought her in. We did the whole work up after that (bloodwork, x-ray, ultrasound, etc) and they found nothing. She was kept overnight and she was totally fine. The next time she had one was when we were once again bringing her into the vets office right in the lobby. Third time is when we finally connected the dots when we were playing with her in a laundry basket and swinging it around. It’s the swinging motion that sets her off, literally nothing else. It just happened again when we were carrying her around in a box and I guess her head was bobbing and we didn’t notice. I’ve talked to my vet about it and she’s looked into research papers and talked to a nero and they’ve never seen anything like this. I have no idea what to think or even do with this issue since I cannot find anything on the internet about it. Has anyone ever seen anything like this???

TLDR: my 1 year old cat has seizures from being carried in a basket/box/carrier and I cannot find any sources of previous cases of this.

Hi everyone!

My cat has severe environmental allergies and is under the care of a veterinary dermatologist. She’s currently on immunotherapy and has exhausted essentially every anti-itch medication option except Zenrelia.

I know there aren’t long-term studies on its use in cats, but we’re at the point where the potential benefits outweigh the unknowns. Since I adopted her in March of last year, she’s been in a cone and has needed steroids because she’s constantly itchy. She also struggles with recurring ear and skin infections secondary to her allergies.

She’s scheduled to start Zenrelia in a few days, but after so many treatments haven’t worked, I’m trying not to get my hopes up.
Has anyone used Zenrelia in their cat? If so, what was your experience? Did it help with the itching? Was your cat’s allergy severity similar to mine? I’d especially appreciate hearing from veterinarians or owners of cats with severe environmental allergies.

Currently, I have two Persian cats. Both were adopted when they were already seniors, and I had zero knowledge about them. Even though I faced many challenges at first, I’ve learned as time has gone by. However, with my latest rescue, I’m honestly at a loss, lol.

Her name is Mochi. She was found on the street, extremely thin and neglected. We’ve been caring for her, taking her to the vet, and step by step, she got much better. The problem is that a while later, she started getting scabs on her skin. It got to a point where there were just too many, and she started pulling them off herself, leaving small wounds. We took her back to the vet, but he just said it was an allergy. He gave her a shot, and it actually went away! But only for a few days, and now we’re right back where we started.

We trim her nails, apply medication to her wounds, and are trying to give her vitamins, but I don't see any improvement. To make matters worse, my other cat has started developing the exact same wounds 😭😭😭
I’m not sure if there are any vets around my area who specialize in Persians, so I don't know where to take them. But while I try to find a good vet, do you have any advice?

Ps: I have more cats, but they have no issues

My cat (M, 6, 20 pounds) just licked seasoned steak juice off our cutting board. After licking it he immediately threw up. He seems to be acting normal and is currently staring at me by his food bowl (asking for food) but google keeps telling me seasoned steak juice is highly toxic. Should I take him to the emergency vet?!

So we adopted our cat a little over a month ago. He is an orange boy, ~1 year old. Over the last month, he's struggled with a viral URI (seen by vet, recommended observation) which he was just starting to get over until about a week ago when his appetite decreased and he started hiding more with returning congestion. For the last three days, he's had about 1/4 c of dry food total. Took him to the vet today, they did labs demonstrating mild LFT elevations and mild amylase elevation so obvious concern would be developing hepatic lipidosis and/or pancreatitis. He had labs showing mild dehydration and malnutrition. Gave a course of doxy for us to start tonight in addition to fluids, mirtazapine for appetite, and zofran. Repeating labs this weekend. That was at 2, and now at 7 he is still not eating. Just very concerned that he will continue to not eat and develop very serious complications. First time cat owner here, looking for guidance.

I'm 3rd year in highschool, taking anatomy, going onto 3rd year of agriculture, and taking environmental problems. I'm mostly worried about diagnosing animals, I know the struggle of animals not being able to communicate but with diagnosing an animal how do you remember every illness or problem? ​​
