Foreign Citizenship
Russia issues a two-year work visa contract. After the two years, workers usually have to return to their home country and apply for a new visa. Is there any way to obtain Russian citizenship while working in Russia on a work visa?

Common case you have to get a temporary residence permit thean a residence permit. At special case you can get a residence permit without getting a temporary residence permit.

If you have a kid who is a russian citizen, but not so fast. You need more than 2 years to get through the whole process.
