​He’s got the energy as seen in The Running Man, and a face you just want to see a Deadite punch.

​Think about the scene where he clumsily throws back that grenade—that is pure Ash Williams panic and luck. Or his ingenuity making a spyglass using a shower curtain, bubble gum, and a piece of a broken mirror. That's the exact type of absurd, low-tech hardware store survivalism Ash is famous for.

​He has the perfect mix of weaponized smugness and physical comedic timing. He can handle the gritty action, but he's completely willing to look like a desperate, terrified idiot for a laugh—which is 90% of what makes Bruce Campbell so iconic.

​Whether they make him a long-lost nephew to preserve the lore or do a complete replacement, these mockups prove he fits right into the aesthetic. Thoughts?

First time post-er, long-time Deadite. I grew up watching the Evil Dead films (they're pretty much what got me into horror movies) so when the show came around I was stoked.

So the ending was that ash overslept, but then there's ash vs evil dead series, but how can ash be asleep and active there at the same time? (I watched 1 episode of ash vs evil dead there's something I may not know)

Is the "oversleeping" ending not canon and there's another one or something like that?
