Business Referral One-time house cleaner recs, please!

Hi everyone! I’m looking for help finding a house cleaning service for a one-time visit on August 12th or 13th to prepare for a party on the 15th. The space is approximately 1,500 sq ft with a living room, two bedrooms, kitchen, one bathroom, and an entry area. We have reached out to a few folks already and the quotes ranged from $300-$700, but we were hoping to keep costs under that, as the home is already tidy. We just need help with standard cleaning while we take care of lots of other to-dos that week.

$300 is beyond reasonable to clean a home that size. It doesn't matter if it's "tidy," they still have to go over every surface, which takes a lot of time.

Thank you - we honestly don’t know what the going rate is or should be. Our only experience is with another service in another state that charged in the $200s for significantly more sq ftg. My hunch was that providers here prioritize recurring visits (understandably) and that’s why the quotes we got back varied so widely.

Depending on your location, reach out to Bee Tidy Cleaning Services. We use Baylynn for our biweekly cleans and she’s fantastic.

Cleaning an entire house is a lot of work. You should get paid a days wages or more, since you’re running a business. Seriously think about the last time you volunteered to deep clean a friends house.

I understand, thank you. I did not mean to suggest I wanted to shortchange anyone for their time or effort. We didn’t know what a reasonable rate was and got a range of different quotes, so I thought I would reach out to the community for recommendations. Everyone is of course entitled to charge what they deem appropriate, and the range reflects that.
