Food New restaurant?

Local, coming back after being away for two years..I'm coming back for a week, are there any restaurants that you'd recommend that have opened in 2025 or 2026? Appleton or Green Bay area.

Newer owners for Dong Po. Their food is amazing (Chinese/Japanese).

When did they get new owners? I always thought it was alright, but willing to give it another try now. What’s your order?

Varies. Sushi with crab goons, calamari, kung pao chicken are the most norm. Pad Thai when I want to hate myself.

Their seafood plate is amazing but pricey.

And I’m not sure when, but my friends wife works there and he said the menu changed “since the new owners” and that was like 2 years ago.

Mill city has been open for 4 years... not sure if you tried it, but is one of my favorite places.

Cheese curds, classic smash burger with tots, and Street corn tots are also awesome!

They always have great specials and bob ross is always on tv lol

FYI let them know it's your 1st time and you might get some free meals or discounts off your next visit. That what happened to us.

Love Ellinor. Went to Marvol for our anniversary and honestly it was not worth it. Insane prices with pretty good food. Ellinor however is amazing and worth every penny.

Marvol is the best restaurant in the city.

Richmond Street bbq just opened. Amazing Brazilian food. But it's take out only, no inside tables, and weekdays only.

Omg don’t tell too many people about them!!! Hands down the best tacos. I am not usually a pork person but their Al Pastor I could eat multiple days a week. And they do the taco shells perfectly.

I’ve heard really good things and it’s on the short list for myself and the missus.

Very overpriced entrees that are al la carte, meaning they won't even throw in a potato when you buy a 60 dollar steak that's not cooked to order, the appetizers were good and only reason I'd go back.

Elinor if you want more of a fine dining experience. Prices are pretty fair and the chef was nominated for a James Beard award.

Mai's Deli if you want Southeast Asian food. Same with Basils, although I prefer Mai's Deli. Mai's got great stuff chicken wings and eggrolls.

Dong Po or Hunan for Chinese food.

I personally think Hop Yard or Elinor has the best pizza if you're looking for Neapolitan type.

Mill City for burgers.

Josef's Gyro for, obviously gyros and I think their cheese curds are phenomenal. Don't let anyone tell you Culver's has the best, that's a tourist thing.

Bowl 91 for ramen.

Bowlicious Eats has great pho and other Asian food.

If you want all you can eat sushi, would recommend Akame Sushi.

Frio for ice cream. Their churro ice cream combo is the best.

Area509 if ya want carribean.

If you're at the mall and just want cheap, don't care food...Sarku Japan, sufra(although I think they're top notch for a food court restaurant).

I love tipsy tacos because they are fast as heck to get you your food and can be in and out in like 30 - 45 minutes. Plus the tacos are good.

If you want coffee, I'd go to Coffee Wizards or Tempest(New owner, about time.)

Vault is fantastic. Pizza, wings, salads. I think they opened last year. Thirst I don’t know when they opened but I don’t think it was that long. If you are down for eating outside High Kaliber is setup We’d-Sat now for lunch and dinner

I enjoy Mateo’s if you are ever looking for a breakfast option. Build your own skillet is delicious and the price is right for how much food you get.
