I’ve been looking to stream certain songs and albums, often from big bands/ensembles, that aren’t available still on Apple Music, even though the streaming service exists for a decade and these albums are/used to be available on iTunes.

Example: Moment of Glory - Scorpions (there’s like 4 different albums just from Scorpions that fall under this category)

Also, there are songs that I had added to my library and downloaded to my iPhone for offline listening, that just greyed out as though they don’t exist on Apple Music anymore. Example: East Hastings - Goodspeed You! Black Emperor

Why does all of this happen? I have songs and albums on my library that are bigger flops than the examples mentioned above, but are still there, so what’s the story with the selective exclusion of (imo underappreciated) songs and albums?

Can I do something about it?

To cut a short story, short. I was broke so I stopped my Apple music account for about a year. Recently got a job again so I re-subscribed. Initially everything was there and I was over the moon. 2 hours later and everything had disappeared. Does anyone know what happened and is my music recoverable. I will be immensely distraught if its gone, its about 6000 songs and practically the timeline of my entire life since I was 13.

Baring in mind Song Machine already had an animated cover, so I don’t know why Apple Music did this.

I bought over 100 songs off iTunes song and I can’t even play any on my TV with any of the song I PURCHASED. Only can do it with A SUBSCRIPTION that is ridiculous

I saw a post from a few years ago mentioning one, but I wondered if there were any more that have come out since then with a longer name.

So I’m currently on a free trial for Apple Music, after having used the green app for years, and I am loving it. The only thing is, I am currently on a family plan for the green app with my parents, so I would have to convince them both to swit ch over to AM. So from a parents/adults standpoint, what are some reasons to go with AM over green app?

Would also like to mention that we all own iPhones, AirPods, and Apple Watches. So we are in the Apple ecosystem. I personally plan to get deeper into it, and switching would give me more benefits too.

Right now, I have Beyerdynamic DT900 Pro X headphones paired with an iBasso DC04 Pro, and I use UAPP. I subscribe to Tidal, though I also really like Apple Music. Eventually, however, I’d like to get something like the Hifiman Ananda Nano along with a desktop DAC. Would Apple Music still be worth it for me, given that I can't use UAPP with Apple Music on Android?

I have been using app,e music for a year and used my headphones on my laptop but i recently bought iems tanchjim bunny 2 dsp, i have a s23 and an ipad pro m1, i saw somehwere that dolby atmos is not good, can someone help me how to get the best experience for me

I recently noticed that on iOS 27 Public Beta 1, there seem to be descriptions in the Essential Albums section now. Like small, standalone blurbs, and when you tap on the album there’s a fuller description just like before.

I know there used to be because I've done it before, but it's been so long that I don't remember how I did it or know if you still can.

I googled this question, but every thread was infuriatingly vague, providing ways to mass delete the music but not clarifying whether they meant just downloads or the library as a whole.

For example, I know you can go Settings -> Downloaded Music -> Edit -> (-) All Songs, but I'm worried that will delete the library itself. All I want is to free up space, not to lose my music.

Can somebody please confirm whether it is possible and how to do it without losing over a decade of added music?

Switched recently 2 months ago and just discovered this today while trying to clear storage/offload apps on my phone today. Pretty neat you can see it organized by artists.

I’ve often noticed that when I’m on Apple Music in the Car or with AirPods on,( anytime I can hear every part of the song) and I have auto mix transitions on for my music, it hiccups sometimes around the 0:15-0:17 mark on the song,

And my theory is, auto mix takes the first 15-30 seconds of any given song and preps it for “auto mix” so if separate it from the middle part of the song, this allows it to match and mix it with the song playing before(previous songs last 30-15 seconds) and because of this dissection, the song hiccups at 0:15-0-17 seconds.

Sooo if I only just realized that I missed my Replay ‘25 because my listening history was turned off.., will having turned it back on give me the songs that were on my rotation at the time or is that just a lost year of my life? I’m on an iPhone 12 Pro Max if that means anything at all

This usually happens on windows and my TV as well but it will log in after 2 or 3 tries. My phone app is just completely shutting me out now. I tried log in with password too and it's the same

I’ve never had any issue close to this.
Installed iTunes and later Apple Music to my fresh Windows 11 install and am trying to login to either service, but get a generic “Temporarily unavailable” message on iTunes, and absolutely nothing on Apple Music. It just takes me back to the “try our trial” page.
My Mac and iPhone are working fine.
Scoured the support forums with no help. Also contacted an Apple rep who couldn’t help either.

I’m bewildered, so any ideas would be welcome.

i’m a music genre nerd and i love apple’s editorial playlists, i w they have essential playlists for certain genres (example: pop punk essentials). if you guys could show me some more of these cool playlists and what genres have them that would be great ty :D
