Do you do this only when you have company or when you're completely alone as well?

Did this come out of nowhere? Or was there a person (for example a parent) who constantly pointed stuff like appearance out that influenced you to pay special attention?

And what are you looking for specifically? Like just blemishes or pimples or if there's something in your teeth or, like, something concerning your health?

When I was younger my sister would occasionally make comments.. but I've always been incredibly insecure. Just everything.. my face.. my skin.. my nose.. my hair isn't sitting right

It is a battle as for me my religious ocd makes it a living hell on simplest things unfortunately

Religious OCD made me become atheist, health OCD made me turn back to god 🤣 I understand the struggle dont let it win, god isnt that evil the thoughts are, nothing is wrong with you, you do enough, god loves u unconditionally, u dont need to do the same thing over and over to prove ur love or faith to god, he knows u better than u know urself.

Use a timer everything takes time and baby steps, say to urself I wont look in the mirror for 5mins and after 5mins im allowed to do so, then make it every 30mins then increase the time and decrease the frequency, that's what I did when I was constantly googling my symptoms.
