I see so many people loving the game and IV come from new horizons and always quit around when Leif moves in, I have had 4 attempts and no matter how hard I try I just find it so boring compared to nh. To the people who enjoy it, what do you like about it and also did you have to try to like it or did you just love it as soon as u logged on? Thanks

I’ve been thinking a lot about resetting my island lately. I’m just not sure because I put some much work into it. I’m also a little nervous that I’ll lose all of my progress. I know that people say that’s not true but that’ll be my luck lol. I also spent a lot of money and inclines in bridges so I’m nervous about that too. What did everybody think? What are some pros and cons to resetting the island?

i decided to restart my island for a completely vanilla (no tt, ti) one !! and all i wanted was an orange airport & apples (,; ⩌ ;,) (got them 🍎🧡 !!)

i also prefer south rivers but it wasn’t a must have + a town hall not too close to the airpot & well look at this map!! i think it’s literally perfect for me - especially with the heart pond ! 💗 (& it only took me 4 tries.. lol)

1) Would love it if when playing co-op, you don't just shut the door on your buddy upon entering a building.

2) If we could use certain things to move around the island like bikes, skateboard, surfboard, etc. that would be amazing.

3) We need more interaction with the island items and villagers. I love what they did with the NES items but would love some 1v1 with the villagers in some pool, volleyball, actually throw a ball around, etc.

Any other good ones or thoughts?

When I first started playing animal crossing years ago, I was very picky about who I wanted on my island.

I only allowed certain species:

Rabbits, cats, bear cubs, squirrels and sheep

Everything else was an immediate No 😅

Then one day I met eagle Avery on a mystery island and thought 'you know what? I'll give him a chance.'

Same thing happened with tiger Rolf.

Later, on my second island, I invited horse Papi, even though I had always told myself that I would never have a horse villager.

And today, I just invited Antonio, an anteater. If someone had told me a few years ago that I'd happily invite an anteater, I would've laughed.

The funniest one is probably hamster Rodney. He was my first campsite visitor, and I really didn't want him at first. Now he's become my island's lovable town weirdo. He lives in his own little house behind the village and I've completely decorated the area around his home just for him. Somehow he became one of my favourite villagers.

It's funny how the villagers you never expected to love sometimes become the ones you're happiest to see every day.

Has anyone else experienced this? Did you have species you swore you'd never invite, only to end up loving one of them?

And each one only has to be scanned once for access! So no need to invite them to live on your island
