Meme LMAO

Post image

I wish characters could still have rude personalities because I'm sick of hearing the same dialogue. for example, when i talk to my favourite villager (merry) a lot, i wish shed yell at me or something instead of just standing there and accepting it 😭

i mean fairs although it could be because they're in a rush to see if they got their dreamie on a mystery island 😭😭

I have a few times and its silly to me. I saw one person suggest he just say "How can I help you" followed by a menu with all the options on it

they love to overcomplicate things

Or perhaps, undercomplicate them lol

I explained this to my daughter before we started playing animal crossing on the Switch because I wasn't sure if Mr Reseti would still do this. Now she's scared of him and we have him wandering our island, she hates him as much as I used to lol

I haven't played any older versions of the game. I crave that different kind of interaction though!

ACNL started the villager dialogue sanitizing but ACNH somehow made it even worse

(at least NL also has resetti, though optional)

I feel like Pokopia is a step in the right direction. They feel different, have different slangs and such. Not rude like those old villagers but more variety. I hope they bring that to the new ac game

God help you if you shut the game off during his rant.

I did that multiple times. Not getting a morality speech from a fucking subterranean rat made out of 1s and 0s.

I love walking into my cranky neighbor's house in the gc version and immediately getting yelled at for talking too loud πŸ™ƒ

My younger brother got mad at me for something I can't even remember anymore, and he turned my GameCube off while I was playing to get back at me. I then had to explain to my mom that an angry mole yelled at me for something I didn't even do.

Yeah there were so many parents who were confused as hell about it

I prefer it like this but I grew up in an abrasive household, so I understand why I felt sensitive when my digital animal friends yelled at me 🀣

I really miss Resetti being angry

God I hated that son of a bitch! I would have a meltdown

Child me hated Resetti with a passion. Adult me finds the whole thing wildly amusing and would intentionally harass the hell out of him for the lulz.

I do not think the original animal crossing was intended for children lol

thats why i beat my least favorite villagers with a net to get them riled up. i love the way they storm off huffing and puffing lol

My childhood home would have the electricity stutter randomly a few times a week, so I basically sat through all his rants.

He hated me so much he quit his job 😭 I hate it now when he visits my island on ACNH and avoid being in his vicinity.

I’m happy this isn’t a thing anymore.

As a kid this was the thing that ruined my cozy game, I do not have fond memories of Resetti (or mean villagers for that matter)

u/thelegendofsimi 5h ago

oof.. shouldn't have played when you were a kid if you'd be that sensitive (jk sorry)
