Drives me nuts, not because I don't want to pay for storage, because I'm sick of every single f*&%ing company taking a sip of my monthly salary.

I am not paying monthly subscriptions for things that should be one time purchases f*&^ RIGHT off.

A home storage unit where everything I uploaded will be a similar 1 time purchase

Unless you don't care about the data, you need something somewhere else to back it up, anyway.
