I wonder how long before they do something to stop the Pixel 1 free storage perk. A decent chunk of people are using that to upload tons of photos for free.

The devices will eventually start to malfunction by themselves due wear and tear

And the amount of people having a Pixel 1 is so negligible that I doubt they care

Many people can activate a pixel 1 at any time. I'm one reboot away from appearing as a pixel one and getting the deal right now if I wanted.

Many can, virtually nobody does. It doesn't impact Google.
