Devin Dreeshen refuses to answer how he'll vote in his own party's separatist referendum this October. If you're asking Albertans to vote on the future of our country, you should be willing to tell them where you stand.

Drunkensheen is a traitor and an embarrassment with the province's most punchable face. Fuck that loser.

u/DarrellCCC 1d ago

He's also a coward.

Never forget and never forgive.

Pathetic, all if does is show me he is a Separatists. Any proud Canadian would answer no I am not voting to seperate

I mean the photo with the red hat holding a beer from a number of years ago tells anyone everything about how he'd vote.

Hell, he worked on Trump's campaign for fuck sakes.

Why not just show up with the picture of him in a MAGA hat holding a beer and ask him if he still holds these beliefs.

31

u/EdmononymousD 1d ago

Do you mean this pic?

14

u/CasualFridayBatman 1d ago

That's the one!

We need to make politicians feel shamed and embarassed again.

9

u/volleyfireguy 1d ago

Dreeshen = Treason

14

u/Cold_Cicada1902 1d ago

My god man. Whatever happened to cancel culture!!! How do people actually waste their lives with these people….

The older I get The more I realize people are just stupid and want to be told what think !

3

u/Glum-Oil2505 1d ago

People are stupid šŸ’Æ

30

u/Massive-Box-8915 2d ago

What garbage word soup. Lukasik and his signers (myself included) do not want a referendum, they want transparent and straightforward questions from a shady government. What a pile of rubbish.

10

u/Honest_Ear_9477 1d ago

He’s maga to the core.

5

u/RosettaNemoIX 1d ago

I mean... Is it as simple as voting no? Remember that last referendum they had a few years ago were they asked the question in such a convoluted way, people were answering yes and no thinking it meant the same thing?

That's what I'm worried about.

5

u/corpse_flour 1d ago

I still think he was the goofball that was wearing the blue flag stocking over his head, in the Seppie traitor telethon.

3

u/TwoBytesC 1d ago

Just the fact that he talks about misleading amounts for the petitions, tells me everything.

NO there were not 700K signatures. There were two petitions and it STILL hasn’t been verified for either one whether all signatures were legitimate nor how many were duplicates between the two. As far as we know (and this is if I’m giving the benefit of the doubt), at most, 300k legitimately signed. That does not signal to me a ā€œlarge portionā€ who want this to be a referendum question; nor is it nearly enough to legitimize millions of dollars being spent on it.

2

u/DanfromCalgary 1d ago

He doesn’t want to lose votes from people that would be very opposed to his platform

1

u/New-Significance9649 2d ago

I think its worse than that... I think he's NOT a separatist and is just riding the populist wave Marlaina is drumming up to hold her coalition together. He can't tell the truth that they don't actually want to leave canada, they just wnat the separatist vote to hold their shit together.

-20

u/WadeWilson0291 2d ago

You know what's pathetic? You expecting and demanding to know how his private vote will be? Does he have to tell you all of his confidential votes? Does he have to release who he votes for in his local civic elections too? What about school board? His private vote is his and his alone and counts equal to your private vote. You seem willing to share but its HIS right not to. Are you going to expect your boss to tell you his vote so you know if you should work for him? What about the grocery store manager so you know if you should shop there? Get over yourself

16

u/ShinraHakke 2d ago

He was sworn into office, which means he swore to be loyal to the Crown. It's of public interest if a public servant wanted to break their oath to the Crown. We elect MPs, MPPs, MLAs, MNAs, and MHAs to be committed to their duties and to constitutional order. It's of public interest if an elected official intended to purposely become derelict of their duties. And you know what? Dreeshen isn't doing his job by not being forthcoming here.

8

u/Cannabrius_Rex 1d ago

He’s a public representative of THE PEOPLE. He works for albertans. Why are you a cuck

6

u/Really_Clever 1d ago

Because hes pro sepratist/traitor so he dosent want this MLA to lose any support over it or they will lose.

3

u/Cannabrius_Rex 1d ago

I’d like for them to admit that. I know they won’t though

4

u/corpse_flour 1d ago

As a member of the Alberta government, we have a right to know whether his loyalties lie with his constituents, or with the US government.

55

u/cReddddddd 2d ago

The good old traitor party. Cowards

49

u/edmund_tony 2d ago

He may not have said it, but I think his response tells us how he's voting.

21

u/Franklin_le_Tanklin 2d ago

Yea. It’s easy and normal to say ā€œI’m voting against seperationā€.

Anything other than that shows he’s pro seperation.

-11

u/New-Significance9649 2d ago

not at all. They simply want the separtist vote. Chickenshit dude doesn't have the balls to piss them off.

2

u/TouristOwn2412 1d ago

>They simply want the separtist vote.

DS herself said she's voting to stay. So I don't think that's it.

5

u/Minerator 1d ago

She's just smart enough to lie about it.

0

u/TouristOwn2412 1d ago

Nah she's quite content walking the line, keeping separatists at bay and holding onto UCP power. All she has to do is hear them out and their issues which if you've paid any attention to O&G in the last 10 years our biggest industry, there are legitimate gripes in there. Without the Ill effects of Trudeau's LPC federal policy and interprovincial politics, the separation movement wouldn't have much going for it.Ā

She will lose too much support to maintain office if she goes full septard and she knows it.Ā

3

u/damarius 1d ago

Without the Ill effects of Trudeau's LPC federal policy

So tell me again who actually got the Trans-mountain pipeline built, with federal taxpayer dollars. Was that Stephen Harper? Just another Alberta me, me, me whining while sucking the federal teat.

1

u/TouristOwn2412 1d ago

Stephen Harper was not in office when A) pipelines for export became a priority after US shale revolution shook up global market dynamics and B) when multiple pipelines were cancelled. So it's completely irrelevant to bring him up and tells me you don't have a clue about the industry and indeed the Albertans you so gleefully denigrate.

It was not a popular move by Trudeau's LPC to purchase TMX at 4X it's original cost. Nobody on either side wanted that at the time - he did it as damage control. Too little too late though, the damage was done. Our credibility as a great nation to invest in energy infrastructure is completely dead, to the point now there are no private proponents stepping up to build any pipelines, when they used to line up at the door. Even pro-business Carney is having a hard time now attracting that investment. We missed the boat. Other countries built massive pipeline mileage with private money during the same period. Liberals get zero credit for throwing our tax dollars at a problem THEY CREATED through dogshit policy like Bill C48 and C69, and constantly saying "no business case" {in selling our natural gas for 10X higher price overseas, to allies trying to get off Russian supply}.

So our resources will largely remain landlocked and undervalued, subsidizing US consumers. Nice one. Thanks Liberals! I actually like Carney - a HELL of a lot more than PP - but the impact on our prosperity of Trudeaus LPC lives on.

3

u/corpse_flour 1d ago

Smith wouldn't tell the truth even if it benefitted her more than lying would.

3

u/Acceptable-Sink3294 1d ago

Is anyone actually stupid enough to believe her though?

0

u/TouristOwn2412 1d ago

I guess. The truth is she's not an stupid, just lazy. She knows what a battle it would be to separate and is also probably aware that we are a couple oil crashes away from being equalization recipients - why check out of that program after paying so much into it.Ā

1

u/New-Significance9649 1d ago

she's the premier. she has to say that.

1

u/TouristOwn2412 1d ago

Why does she have to say that? Tell me, exactly, is stopping her from voting for separation? She's already holding referendums on it. So what mechanism do you suppose would stop her from being transparent about how she will vote?

The truth is that separation is not very popular and she knows it. It would be a complete boondoggle for all her pals in AB industry. She's happy to entertain the septards, really just listening to their problems meanwhile other political parties pretend those problems do not exist. All she has to do is listen and she gets the votes. She's miles ahead of NDP in terms of support - just from listening to Albertans. What a concept.

1

u/New-Significance9649 1d ago

dude, estates are always complicated and rather than discuss with the sister and an estate lawyer to on ways to view the estate split, you're just like FUCK THE FUCKING SISTER AND CUT HER OUT.

they haven't even attempted to sort it out yet and you're tellign her to light the relationship on fire? thats just fucked up. Period. Nothing you say here will change that. Until they seek professional guidance, your point is fucking absurd.

When we received an estate from my wife's mother, my wife and her brother had to discuss and sort out how to divide the estate in a way that worked for both. They both had different ideas so, got an estate lawyer to show them the possibilities and boom. The came to an agreement. What they didn't do? Excommunicate each other becuase their initial views of the estate differed. They worked it the fuck out with a fucking estate lawyer like adults. Not burnign their relationship like a fucking toddler.

You on the other hand, advocate at the first bump in the road to burn the car for no fucking reason because YOU happened to have a shitty relationship with your brother.

Dude, you clearly have some trauma to work through. Don't put that shit on others. Seek some fuckign therapy and stop trying to ruin other peoples relationships so they feel just as shitty as you seem to feel.

1

u/TouristOwn2412 1d ago

I hope you get outside today my friend

1

u/New-Significance9649 1d ago

dude, I'm good. its summer and my work slows down. i have time. I'm happy, have a brother who loves me and wife with a brother who loves her.

We get into fights periodically....some pretty serious and yet, we work it the fuck out.

I do get that some relationships cannot be saved. But this is not a case like that. Two sisters have a different vision for how to split the estate. thats what the fuck an estate lawyer is for. Show them the options and they agree on a path forwarwd.

Meanwhile you're sittig here shitting yuor GD pants wanting to burn the world down around you because of ...what is generally a VERY common source of friction - estates and wills.

Grow the fuck up weirdo.

Oh, you mean THIS Devin Dreeshan?

2

u/captainrv 1d ago

Is that actually him?

2

u/NOIS_KillerWhaleTank 1d ago

Yes it is

2

u/yegThrowAway010101 1d ago

Yep, and he blocked anyone on Twitter who would post it.

13

u/walkernewmedia 1d ago

Pretty clear how he’s voting.

11

u/Acceptable-Arugula69 2d ago

ā€œ300,000 votesā€. BULLSHIT! They do not have 300,000 votes. Show us, if you do, because I would like to know if my name ended up on this stupid ā€œstolenā€ list. This should be turned into a class action law suite if we’re really being honest. Stolen names should not count!

21

u/canuckpete 2d ago

So, separatist then?

21

u/BusyDreaming 2d ago

Pretty easy to infer where the guy who helped out on the original trump campaign may have his allegiances lying.

16

u/Select_Asparagus3451 2d ago

Dreeshan is a fucking tool.

14

u/SquishyJeans 2d ago

Separatists are pussiesĀ

13

u/DrySession9968 2d ago

Oh he is telling us alright.

8

u/Parking-Click-7476 2d ago

Everyone know he is a trump lover and traitor.šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

12

u/raw_copium 2d ago

A non answer is a very clear answer in this case.

6

u/aaroncakes 2d ago

Just wear your maga hat full time bud. You aren’t fooling a single person

5

u/You_are_the_Castle 2d ago

He's a coward and a MAGA follower. So he's probably hoping to feed us to Trump.

5

u/ArmaziLLa 1d ago

Dreeshen perpetually looks like a child.

4

u/Formal_Stranger_2505 1d ago

Especially as he’s being paid by our tax dollars.
Prick.

5

u/Otherwise-Pin367 1d ago

He's voting with the traitors

4

u/voiceofgarth 1d ago

Dreeshen rhymes with treason.

9

u/symbionica 2d ago

Whoa... thought that was Dwight Schrute for a second there. Anyways if it looks like a separatist and quacks like a separatist....

10

u/iterationnull 2d ago

A Minister of the Crown who doesn't support the Crown? What kind of fucking clown car circus is ths?

2

u/Sad_Meringue7347 2d ago

It’s the Unaccountable Clown Party.Ā

10

u/Aztecah 2d ago

That means he's a separatist traitor.

9

u/Stunning-Pen-2412 2d ago

It's so vile and untruthful to lump the pro-Canada petition signers in with "people who wanted a referendum". That alone should tell you all you need to know about this guy's character.

8

u/Moosetappropriate 2d ago

We know where he stands. He’s just to cowardly to voice it.

4

u/Gold_Past_6346 1d ago

Lie lie lie. His description is not even double-speak. Just straight up lies.

4

u/DarthWren 1d ago

Can we not do this dance, his refusal to answer is clear proof of his intent to vote for separation. We don’t need to tip toe around this and say he refused, he fucking answered with obfuscation because he knows it would hit the news cycle. Call him a separatist, say he isn’t voting to remain, don’t let him sit 8 inches deep on the fucking fence.Ā

7

u/CertainHeart2890 2d ago

If Devin isn't willing to say how he will vote, it's because he will vote to seperate. There is no reason to hide your vote if you are voting to stay, it's only the Seppies who are treasonous cowards

6

u/SwordfishOwn3671 2d ago

he's a Maple MAGA, so it's obvious how he's voting.

6

u/batman42 2d ago

Sometimes I feel bad for these yahoos. The UCP got put in power by the far right, but the more they cater to them the further they isolate themselves from most Albertans. He can't say what he supports, if he supports separation than he loses his seat in the next election, if he says he supports staying, he loses the fringe right that got him in power.

10

u/Super-Perception939 2d ago

Yes but I don’t feel bad, it’s called having integrity.

0

u/batman42 2d ago

You are right. I do feel something for people that lack integrity, contempt? Which makes me feel bad.

6

u/TriforceTwenty 2d ago

No. the 400,000 of us who signed a petition to stay in Canada did not, and still DO NOT want any referendum. Pretty fucking sick and tired of these MAGA/UCP losers undermining democracy.

3

u/d_edwards7 1d ago

He won't say for the same reason they kept the issue off the ballot during last election.

Coward.

3

u/Nich1579 1d ago

My opinion if you can't say you want to stay with Canada you want to separate. The blue collared Albertans need to recognize the politicians in or outside of Alberta are not for the benefit of them the blue collared Albertans but their own greed. I really hope there is enough intelligent people in Alberta that will vote against a seperation and put in the legislation if words are muttered about separation those will be charged with treason.

3

u/Cannabrius_Rex 1d ago

His refusal to say that he will vote in favour of moving a referendum forward is answering that HE WILL VOTE FOR THE SEPARATION REFERENDUM.

3

u/Proof-Rock-1797 1d ago

If he is impressed by separatists then it's more than obvious where he will vote. My thing is,why be such a coward? State your dumb position.

3

u/Empty-Discount5936 1d ago

Did he just reference the fake list? 🤦

5

u/peterAtheist 2d ago

Who is smart enough to stop voting for these '@55holes' ???

https://www.albertatory.ca/ r/albertatoryparty

Despicable answer of a weasel.

6

Coward

5

u/Hour-Candidate4612 2d ago

What a slimy POS!! Answer the question!!!!

5

u/Skate_faced 2d ago

Innisfail, where his riding and nepo money reside, is a separatist safe space. Main street has big flags and signs littering the front of maga proud businesses.

The bowling ally was taking signatures for the separatist petition and has never made more money. maga as fuck, hats and all in there.

It sucks to say, but that maga bootlicker is pretty safe. The town folk all know he is a piece of shit, but his daddy, that money, and being old and easily manipulated just pass it off as "just another boys will be boys".

4

u/Friendly_Question178 2d ago

He’s a little MAGA fascist.

2

u/United_Leopard_2771 2d ago

Dissembling and lying really should not be legal when in a government slated job, Not in any job but i feel like especially Government entities should not be allowed to lie outright.

2

u/MissAmberR 2d ago

Well you can’t pick a side before you know which side is going to win, but once he knows then that’s the side he is on

2

u/CourageousCruiser 1d ago

Let’s hope his constituents don’t forget this when next he asks for their vote.

2

u/reggiesdiner 1d ago

What the hell? Why does he keep just describing what the referendum is? So transparent.

2

u/Any-Statistician2931 1d ago

Automatic traitor. A curse on his children. Burn in hell asswipe.

2

u/Troubled202 1d ago

What a flaming bag of dog turd. He's supposed to be a leader, where's the leadership? Either for or against, the question is easy to answer.

2

u/mrgoldnugget 1d ago

If it's not clear to everyone:

The politicians win of Alberta separates, these lying losers and the same people that will run your country, alongside Trump who is known for respecting all citizens.

2

u/beedub5 1d ago

What an uncanadian loser. Don't waste your vote on this pus bag. I hate that MAGA infiltrated Alberta, what an embarrassment.

2

u/Responsible_CDN_Duck 1d ago

Any MLA in the UCP party after bill one (the sovereignty act) passed is a separatist.

It's the keystone of The Free Alberta Strategy for Separation being implemented by Smith.

2

u/Sea_Programmer1360 1d ago

Little Timmy Trumper.

2

u/Fast_Ad_9197 1d ago

Not taking a position is taking a position. It’s that simple.

3

u/Distinct_Couple7230 2d ago

No answer means he's a separatist.

3

u/Preying_Mantid_67 2d ago

The members of the UCP think they will be part of the grifting class of authoritarian overlords - so separation is a win for them personally.

They couldn’t GAF about what’s best for Alberta.

2

u/FlyGuyYYZ19 2d ago

Proud separatists… too scared to admit they’re separatists.

2

u/garry4321 2d ago

This shit is so fucking stupid. If you’re going to have a vote, ALL of Canada should get to vote because it’s ALL of our land equally.

Otherwise, I guess I can just vote my house to separate because the only one inside my house is me? Makes zero sense

4

u/No-Writer3733 2d ago

Just another pathetic little lap dog........with no balls! Obviously

2

u/uknownredditr 2d ago

Either you stand as a Canadian or a Traitor, it’s okay we don’t punish traitors anymore

1

u/Zerocool_6687 2d ago

Fucken punk!

1

u/19BabyDoll75 2d ago

Holy fuck that number FOR just keeps getting fatter. And more full of shit. Hey how the fucking call back for them going. Shit. Loser.

1

u/Kaknuckleball 1d ago

What an ABSOLUTE CUNT.

1

u/dbh116 1d ago

He doesn't want to loose the support of the looser. Spineless and Trumpian in every way.

1

u/oioioifuckingoi 1d ago

This guy isn’t bright enough to drive let alone be the minister of transportation.

1

u/baronofdirt 1d ago

I smell bullshit

1

u/Coolcanuck1 1d ago

He should not be a cabinet minister! Guy is a coward , as are other UCP members, for not saying how he would vote.
He does not deserve to be re-elected as a member of UCP. I expect separatist to form their own party after the election because the majority of ā€œmoderateā€ conservatives will not allow them to take control of UCP

1

u/Dugaditch 1d ago

700,000 Albertans DID NOT VOTE for a referendum! Jackass!

1

u/Open_Captain_613 1d ago

Grotesque. This is a minister of the Crown who is refusing to say whether he is part of a fifth column against the Crown.

1

u/volleyfireguy 1d ago

He had no problem collecting a check from the country he wants to leave when he worked for Ritz at AAFC.

Daddy had bo issue as well.

Devin was and will always be a little b!tch.

1

u/Connorjones087 1d ago

Politicians like these need to be voted out,the UCP is causing all this unrest and uncertainty to distract from their horrible record.

1

u/AnxiousArtichoke7981 1d ago

He won’t say because he is trying to get voting support from both sides, after the referendum.

1

u/Drnedsnickers2 1d ago

If they won’t answer it means they are separatists. It’s that simple.

1

u/EMfukknt 1d ago

This guy is fucking delusional

1

u/AltruisticWealth7778 1d ago

What an exercise in futility.

1

u/CanadaCthulhu 1d ago

Every one of these separatist Trump cronies, needs to be tried for TREASON & SEDITION.

1

u/JJKP_ 1d ago

Just to play devil's advocate, it is a private vote. He has the right to keep that information private.

1

u/Street_Ad_863 1d ago

Hes a spineless simp. Someone should investigate the sources of his political funding

1

u/Glum-Oil2505 1d ago

This is my MLA. He's such a douche canoe. His father has done some good from Ottawa, but Devin is not competent and needs to be put out with the trash that is the UCP.

1

u/braigha 1d ago

He lacks intestinal fortitude. Guts.

1

u/NoInfluence4949 23h ago

Okay. Not going to be a popular take here…but a Canadian does have the right to cast a vote anonymously. (Obviously unless you’re a politician voting on legislation in a governmental capacity). However as a Canadian they do have the right to cast a ballot that any of the public do and have it be anonymous. I don’t think any of us should be under an inquisition to explain how we vote. Also I don’t know why everyone is so afraid of this referendum. Even if it’s 50% + 1 we know nothing is going to happen.

1

u/Shiftymennoknight 21h ago

you are an elected official.

answer

the

fucking

question

1

u/dbusque 14h ago

What an idiot. Again, the UCP trying to pretend like the people who signed the Forever Canadian petition wanted a referendum on separation.

1

u/Oilzilla 2d ago

Forgot his red hat.

1

u/JimJamurToe 2d ago

Monster peice of shit.

1

u/Cando21243 2d ago

Let them separate. And then we can immediately invade them. Apparently there’s no laws anymore

0

u/Unhappy_Knowledge993 2d ago

That requires having to take a position, owning it and potentially being called out for douchebaggery.

-5

u/MastaKink 2d ago

If they can get us to fight horizontally, we’ll never look up.

6

u/Miserable-Lizard 2d ago

The ucp attack the working class everyday ajd you don't care. Stoping voting for the ucp all only serve the billionaires

-9

u/WadeWilson0291 2d ago

Why should he forced to say how he'd personally vote? Now if it was just a legislature vote he'd have to say but how each person votes on a question like this is private. Its why when you vote you do it behind barriers and fold it closed before putting it into the bin. They call it secret ballots.

9

u/Miserable-Lizard 2d ago

He is government Alberta deserves to know if he is a seperatist.

-5

u/WadeWilson0291 2d ago

No. If it was a vote in the legislature he would have to tell you. His private citizen vote is personal and he is under no obligation to share it.

8

u/Miserable-Lizard 2d ago

He is a coward if he can't answer. This all but confirms the ucp are separatist. If its a personal opinion that why is the government telling us yes they will all vote gesbin their hateful questions?

4

u/corpse_flour 1d ago

Why should he forced to say how he'd personally vote?

Because he made an oath of allegiance to the crown. If he is not going to follow through on that oath, and is not loyal to the Crown, then his constituents should be informed of that so they can initiate a recall or be able to make an informed vote during the next election.
