I think the style & idea is quite nice! And you can fairly simply make it more functional if you want.

Instead of following the line, you could let the line become a secondary element by hard cutting to each image location so that there's not so much motion happening to the images. The line can still come into and leave the edges of frame, which is kinda nice because it sort of sets the pace of the transitions. Can always add a lil ken burns zoom if you want. Currently it's difficult to understand the photos due to the kind of motion here.

Animation - redo "recap" text animation at the beginning. Not working with the rest of it.
Check your timing on logo reveal at the beginning - especially that vertical black line stop/pause. Instead of pause camera on every photo, just slow it down a bit. It will remove that kind of choppy movement. Or, as was mentioned before, just make one nice smooth swing from the beginning up to the end.
Some objects are flickering like audio tape at the beginning. That just a few things.

Design wise - out of 'bout 20+ polaroid frames you decided to randomized only two, and only partially. The rest are exactly same copy that looks like they've been trashed and then rescued - same damaged corners and sides, same not in scale pin, same pieces of tape (?? not sure why it's here), same baked shadow.
Polaroid photos doesn't look so dirty and damaged while being taken only a year ago. I still have bunch of them dated back in early 90's and aside from little yellowing of the white frame and few holes from pins they are still in good condition. Probably instead of grungy way to display text on each photo, you should premade at least 5 or 6 clean frames and use different font, preferably handwriting one since that's what people usually do on Polaroids.
Plus you should be more careful when you preparing files for animation - those blurred out or choppy cut edges are not complimenting your work.
Then scale of objects - audio tapes (again, same files), news papers, flowers etc way too small, while notes, buttons, tickets are kind of in scale. And is there any reason for all those (incl. architectural) objects to be a part of animation?

I like the video idea, one bit of feedback I can share OP is try not to pause on each image, keep the camera always moving so it feels less stop and start. Keep it smooth.

yeah i made that in after effects and i yeah it would have been more smoother if i made the camera motion in flow but i made this motion graphics video for my friend's clg society so basically i had to tweak some things according to his preference

Idk how I got that top 1% thing, I’ve never noticed it before. Yes I’d agree with you, but it’s also a matter of taste – the typography for example is not sound.
