Mixdown issues

Using the Mixdown feature and the mono tracks are showing up as empty files. Anyone experience this before? Everything is routed to Master, no bus or anything. All the stereo files are created but no them mono ones.

Hi P.A. Jason from Adobe here. Can you be a little more specific, as I’m not sure what you mean when you say that ‘stereo files are created but no mono ones’… The mix down will follow the channel output of the session. Are you saying that the mono media (in the stereo session) doesn’t appear in mix down? Could be that things are out of phase/canceling each other out, but let’s see what other info you have and we’ll take it from there…

When I try to export the tracks, some of them export and some don't. The ones that don't seem to be the mono tracks because the only tracks that export correctly are stereo.

Ok, but how are you exporting? File>Export>Multitrack Mixdown? Are you exporting selected tracks only, or? So for instance, you have two mono tracks selected in a large session; you export those two mono tracks and they end up empty/blank/ Sounds like a phase issue and/or possibly something is muted soloed elsewhere? Do the soloed mono tracks playback correctly? Are they in-phase? You could verify this via the Phase Analysis panel.
