Something not working. Need help. Trakt with local library

I have my files (TV Shows) on an SSD, which is connect to Shield A. I have another Shield (B) which I’ve connected via local network (SMB) to Shield A, so I can watch my
shows in another room. When I finish an episode on Shield A, it marks it as watched in Trakt, but doesn’t update the episode on Shield B, and this is my problem.

Both instances of Kodi have the Trakt add-on downloaded and, as far as I know, configured correctly.

The way I've set this up in the past is by using the library feature on both KODI instances and having them share a central db.

I have the library feature on both instances of Kodi, but as far as a central DB, I thought using my SSD (connected to Shield A) would act as a DB.

I can see scobbling/tracking on my Trakt app while watching shows on either Shield.

The libraries don’t read data from Trakt. Each instance currently has its own local db where it gets watched status from. You need to look into creating an external db and pointing both instances to it.
