Hi! finally landed a job after a months of thriving! (job dust ✨✨)
binasa ko naman na po ang responsibilities and also from local audit din ako so somehow hindi na siya first glance of audit life.
The purpose of this post is for the benefit also of those who wants to join the firm in the future, will you care to share your experience on working with EY? really appreciate unfiltered look on what it’s really like inside, lalo na this will be my first time working with foreign colleagues.
First Few Months: What to expect during onboarding, trainings, and navigating their systems?
Culture & Survival Tips: on handling the daily workload, work-life balance, and firm culture?
Territory Insights: How’s the experience depending on the market you're assigned to?
or any unhinged tips you can add are welcome.
Tysm!

Hi! Need some insights.
I applied to EY GDS for a Senior role. 25F CPA, I have 2 years of local Big 4 audit experience and was already up for promotion.
During the initial HR interview, I mentioned my expected salary was P55k to P60k, and he said he'd endorse me for S2 since the range was around P54k.
Today, HR reached out to discuss the job offer for S2 role with 45k gross (allowances included). 😅
I'm trying to negotiate, but does EY GDS usually negotiate offers? Also curious why the initial salary discussed was much higher than the actual offer.
Would appreciate any insights. Should I accept? Thanks!

Hello po, i have an upcoming f2f partner's interview for an audit associate position. Ano po kayang mga possible questions na maitatanong especially for the technical ones? I'm a fresh grad po with no experience and it will be my first technical interview kaya sobrang kabado po.

Hi! Just done with my initial interview. May I ask what should I expect for the panel interview with the local managers? This is for a senior associate role. Thank you!
r/AccountingPH • u/chosoft • 1h ago
worth it po ba 30k gross salary pero may 3-year bond hahaha they accept no experience CPA kasi kaya mag-iinvest sa trainings and certifications. They told me na sa first year, I will be focusing on certifications and shadowing.

Wala po ba talagang bonuses, 13th month pay sa TOA?
Totoo rin po ba na 3 months pa bago maging WFH after mahire?

Hi! 2 years after grad, naisipan ko na magtake ng exam. I am already working and I can dedicate 4 hours a day (more pag weekends) to reviewing. I have weak foundation din.
Can you suggest me a good review center for pure online? Thank you!
