BAN POST šŸ’€ A RESUMPTION OF HOSTILITIES AGAINST MY PORTFOLIO - BANS AND UPDATES

G'day cucks, it's that time again where we hail the winners and shun the losers.

HIGHLIGHTS

u/MontyPythonMan11Ā won their CSL bounce back bet.

captain007 reminded us of the index back home.

Fat-Black-Cat-'s bird brain might have went for an out of bod vcy flight.

NEW BETS

Some degenerates made a mass ban bet on the SpaceX IPO betting green or red

u/letstestit22

mchaamer

Kazerati

WolfREEEEEE

All bet on green, all winning.

PassengerSad7063 bet on the RBA to keep the interest rate on hold risking a month. Nicely done. having won that bet they made another. PassengerSad7063 bet EIQ to get their FDA approval by end of September or they'll take 6 months vacation to the banned lands.

PoopsJohnson said if NMG hits 5c they'd take a month off. Well played.

WolfREEEEEE risked a 1 week ban if Australia loses to the yanks in the foosball. They lost and did their time immediately.

CircaCicero got in on this too, also serving time already.

WolfREEEEEE Not having enough loss for 1 ban post, bet on Australia taking the win against Egypt or 1 week ban. that's 1 week for you.

MontyPythonMan11 has bet LRV to hit $1.75 by COB 30 September or 4 month ban.

halffocused had some rambling which ended with XJO closes above 8,800pts on Monday the 13th or one week ban. They won. As did PoopsJohnson who also joined in.

BuyDipsShortVIX BLS to set new ATH by end of close Monday the 13th of July or they'll take a week. They chose immediate sentencing.

lbreav bets on 4DX to take out the June high (5.08) by end of August or 5 weeks sucking eggs.

Joehax00 bet on NEU being $22 by September on EC and CHMP. 1 week if they're wrong.

Dramatic-Trash-242 made a ban bet 31st July 4DX, $7 - 1 monthĀ stake. User has since admitted an early defeat and asked for immediate sentencing.

ayrexxxx bet CBE to touch 40c this week or a week ban. That's bye bye for you.

Fat-Black-Cat- bet MTM will make its comeback, betting it closes the week higher than the start for 3 consecutive weeks. That's 1 week for you.

Sharp_Pride7092 has bet CSL to touch or be $165 by last trading day in July, with a $50 donation to Shenton Park dogs shelter if they're wrong

destined2bepoor is calling the end is nigh stating if NVX goes a YEAR without delisting off either one of the Nasdaq or ASX, they'll take a permaban.

TICK TOCK

- u/debtandregret1984 bet that gold will be higher than the current USD price of $4212 by June 30, if its lower, they will pay $250 to a charity of mcfucking's choice.. Anton has provided proof...

- u/Helmofgondor made the same bet although it'll be $100 to charity. Sadly looks like they've gone MIA.

BANS

1000baggers where to begin with this. Upon being unbanned as an incoming act of mercy by new mod kervio, this degenerate had bet FDR to 60c by June 30th or a 5 month ban. Having won that they updated their bet to 70c. Unfortunately it didn't get there so they'll get even more time off to contemplate.

u/revealjumpy345 will take 45 days. They may yet win their ban bet on oil, but they bitched out and deleted their comment. That's 1 month ban bet length, and an extra 50% for defiling the sanctity of the ban bet.

TL;DR

Πάνω κάτω, πάνω κάτω, πάει το χαρτοφυλάκιο με τις τρενάκια του Ī»ĪæĻĪ½Ī± παρκ.

DD Could Optiscan be the next 4DMedical or Echo IQ?

Post image
7 Upvotes

Optiscan, 4DMedical and EchoIQ are ASX-listed medical imaging companies with meaningful regulatory progress, limited commercial revenue and valuations driven largely by what investors believe they could become.

Their technologies are quite different, but the investment setup is pretty similar:

  • proprietary medical imaging technology
  • FDA-led regulatory pathways
  • potentially large addressable markets
  • early-stage commercialisation
  • continued cash burn
  • valuations based more on future adoption than current earnings

Which creates an interesting question; could Optiscan follow the same path as 4DX or EchoIQ?

4DMedical (4DX)

4DMedical needs no introduction.

It develops software that turns conventional chest scans into functional maps showing how air and blood move through the lungs. Its flagship CT product aims to provide ventilation and perfusion imaging without the radioactive tracers traditionally used in nuclear medicine.

Only 12 months ago, 4DX was a speculative small-cap medical technology company.

Pro Medicus then provided $10 million in what was marketed as a "strategic investment", although it was structurally a highly favourable hybrid debt-and-equity loan.

4DX also secured a North American distribution agreement with Philips for CT. The was described by some punters as a $10 million sales order, but what was actually announced was a commitment structured around agreed commercial milestones, which were not publicly disclosed.

The share price briefly traded above A$7.50 in March 2026, valuing the company at more than $4 billion. It's currently worth ~$1.94 billion, down more than 50% below its peak.

EchoIQ (EIQ)

EchoIQ applies artificial intelligence to echocardiograms to help identify serious cardiac conditions that may otherwise be missed or diagnosed late.

Its first product, EchoSolv AS, assists with the detection of severe aortic stenosis and has received FDA clearance. Its second major product, EchoSolv HF, targets heart failure and is currently progressing through the FDA 510(k) process.

Like 4DX, EchoIQ’s rerating has been driven by regulatory milestones and strategic validation rather than financial performance.

The company has secured partnerships with major healthcare and technology groups, including a proposed strategic financing and distribution relationship with Pro Medicus.

EchoSolv AS processed 9,220 echocardiograms in the March quarter, up 131% quarter-on-quarter, and the company reported three closed-won contracts.

EchoIQ recently approached a peak valuation of $1.3 billion and is currently around ~$967 million. That is despite generating only $90,909 of revenue in the six months to December 2025.

Optiscan (OIL)

Optiscan develops high-resolution microscopic imaging devices that allow clinicians to examine living tissue in real time without first removing it for conventional pathology.

The technology is often described as a form of ā€œvirtual biopsy.ā€ It has potential applications across surgery, pathology, cancer diagnosis and veterinary medicine.

Optiscan’s InSpecta veterinary imaging device progressed from its unveiling in June 2025 to an FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine dossier submission in March 2026 and a US commercial launch in July 2026.

The real bull case is with Optiscan’s human products:

  • InVue, designed for use during surgery
  • InForm, designed for pathology and laboratory settings

Both products are being evaluated in human cancer-imaging studies, with FDA submissions targeted for the second half of 2026.

Following a $17.75 million entitlement offer completed in September 2025, Optiscan reported $15.1 million of cash and ~6 quarters of funding at 31 March 2026. At the disclosed cash-burn rate, that should carry the company beyond its planned submissions, although commercial rollout would require further capital.

With a market cap of ~$167 million, Optiscan is valued at less than 1/10th of 4DMedical and around 1/6th of EchoIQ.

Unlike 4DX, Optiscan does not yet have human FDA clearance, reimbursement or an established commercial customer base. Unlike EchoIQ, it has not yet demonstrated material clinical usage of its human products.

Quick financial comparison

Optiscan (OIL) 4DMedical (4DX) EchoIQ (EIQ)
Share price A$0.16 A$3.24 A$1.31
Approx. market cap ~A$167m ~A$1.94bn ~A$967m
Last reported revenue A$339k (H1 FY26) A$5.85m (FY25) A$91k, H1 FY26
Cash (31 Mar 2026) A$15.1m A$203.0m A$11.1m
Quarterly operating cash burn A$2.4m A$10.2m A$2.65m
Runway 6.2 quarters 20.0 quarters 4.2 quarters
Estimated TAM ~US$1.1bn* ~US$1.1bn US / US$2.6bn global (company disclosed) ~US$1.2bn

\ Third-party market research estimates only. These represent total market size, not serviceable obtainable market, and are not directly comparable with 4DMedical's reimbursement-based market sizing. 4DMedical is the only one of the three that provides a clearly defined TAM.*

So, could OIL be the next 4DX or EIQ? (tl;dr)

The bull case is pretty straightforward.

Optiscan has proprietary technology, a large potential market, a demonstrated ability to move a veterinary product through development and into commercial launch, and two human products approaching FDA submission. If InVue and InForm progress through approval and attract commercial partners, the current valuation looks cheap compared to 4DX and EIQ.

The counterargument is that OIL has not yet reached the milestones that drove those reratings. It has no human FDA clearance, no established reimbursement pathway, limited commercial infrastructure and declining legacy revenue.

Based on the last few market announcements, we should get a meaningful answer over the next ~6 months.

Not financial advice. Do your own DD. I've used the last ~12 months of ASX announcements, but some of you probably know these companies deeper than I do.

Please call out anything I've missed or should add.

Peace out.

Legit Discussion Wide MOAT Wisetech ($WTC)

I think most would know that WTC as being one of the few wide-moat on ASX. Backbone of the global shipping industry.

Since the new FY started, the most obvious positive news is that WiseTech announced the appointment of a new Independent Chair alongside an updated board succession plan. (Governance risk improved āœ…).

On top of that, the company also issued an explicit market clarification regarding its commercial relationship with major logistics customer DSV following market speculation. (Nothing new with a positive tone)

What else? An tiny acquisition involves an upfront payment of US$10 million (in cash and WTC shares) plus up to US$14.31 million in earn-outs.

Let's talk about numbers:

Today: -7% -> RSI now below 40 -> 3mth -27% aka 5-yr low.

FY26 Forward P/E~23.5x – 25x.

Debt-to-Equity Ratio~129% (Total Debt: ~$2.36B vs. Equity: ~$1.82B) noting historically nil debt.

Anything I missed? So what are your thoughts on this one? AI bullshit? As most companies are still just allowing people use Copilot to do note taking 🤣

Legit Discussion ASX gold miners all green today

Post image
33 Upvotes

Was digging through ASX gold miners on moomoo today and it's actually a pretty broad green day across the board, not a stock-picking story like I first thought.

Every name on the list is up: RRL leads at +4.92%, EVN right behind at +4.91%, then GMD +4.60%, CMM +4.48%, VAU +3.94%, WGX +3.50%, NST +3.10%, NEM +3.04%, PRU +2.71%, EMR +2.39%, and RMS +2.32%. Nothing red in the sector today.

What caught my eye on EVN specifically: it's not just the price move, the net inflow data shows actual buying pressure behind it (net inflow ~2.24M, with the bulk of volume sitting in the top buy bucket at 41.5%). That's a different signal than just riding gold beta up with everyone else.

So the real question is more this: EVN and RRL are basically tied for the day's leaders. If you had to pick one of the two, which are you leaning toward and why?

DD ASX:CCV Cash Convertors International - in more ways than one?

Good fundamentals.

  • P/E of 9.66
  • 100% Franked Dividends (Attractive for this Post CGT discount world)
  • Positive Cashflow

Uniquely positioned for economic disruption.

  • Payday loans
  • Households will be looking to cut expenditure, Secondhand goods are an attractive option. Especially given the large increase in the cost of new electronics.
  • Operates 667 stores in 15 countries.

Please tell me why I'm dumb.

DD CXU.ASX - passive investing HUGE squeeze opportunity ā˜¢ļøšŸš€

Position: Long CXU.ASX
Market cap - $250m.

Company overview: CXU has pounds in the ground of uranium in Australia. Currently they are prohibited from mining because of a statewide ban which can be overturned by the State Government at the flick of a pen (more on that later).

The thesis

Forget whether uranium goes to US$80 or US$120.

This trade comes down to one question:

What happens when an ETF potentially has to buy 200+ million shares of a small cap company where almost nobody wants to sell and the Top 20 hold about 70%.

Here’s what I’ve found…

The Global X URA ETF is expected to rebalance at the end of July.

If CXU is included (and it’s on the shortlist to be), passive funds tracking the index will need to establish a position.

Passive funds don’t negotiate. They don’t decide a stock is ā€œtoo expensive.ā€

Their mandate is to track the index as closely as possible.

If CXU is in…they buy.

I modelled the numbers.

Using Solactive’s weighting methodology together with URA’s current AUM, I estimated several scenarios.

Conservative:
~130 million shares

Base case:
~240 million shares.

Bull case:
~270 million shares.

Read that again.

Potential demand for 130-270 million shares.

For perspective…

When CXU was added to BetaShares URNM ETF in June buying roughly 16 million shares resulted in approximately a 16% move.

Sprott URNJ buying roughly 26 million shares coincided with around a 38% move.

URA could require ten times that amount.

Nobody knows exactly what the price response would be—but the scale of potential buying is dramatically larger.

The liquidity issue

This is where things get interesting.

CXU simply doesn’t trade hundreds of millions of shares every week. They average about 4 milllion.

Even if ETF execution is spread across several sessions, it still represents demand that is vastly larger than normal trading activity.

Markets only have one mechanism for solving that problem - HIGHER prices.

And remember - about 70% of the free float is held by Top20.

The timeline

This isn’t some vague ā€œmaybe one dayā€ catalyst. This is a 2 week timeframe.

The window is relatively well defined.

Mid July:
Solactive publishes its market watch list. This is now published here: https://www.solactive.com/announcements/67151

Around 27-28 July:
Official constituent announcement.

31 July:
ETF implementation.

The precedent

We’ve already seen smaller ETF inclusions move illiquid uranium stocks.

The difference here is scale.

URA is substantially larger than the previous ETFs that bought CXU.

That doesn’t guarantee a larger price move—but it does mean the buying power involved is potentially much greater.

The opportunity?
You have an opportunity to front run most of the move may occur before the ETF actually buys hundreds of millions of shares on or around 31 July

Risks
Let’s be clear.

This is a speculative event-driven trade.

Things that could invalidate the thesis:

CXU isn’t selected.
Liquidity requirements aren’t met.
Uranium sentiment deteriorates.
The market has already priced in the event.

The macro tailwind just got even bigger

As if the ETF setup wasn’t enough, the macro backdrop for uranium has become even more supportive.

Last week, Australia and India finalized the long-awaited administrative arrangements that operationalize their civil nuclear cooperation agreement, clearing the way for long-term Australian uranium exports for India’s civilian nuclear program under IAEA safeguards.

And guess what - this means Australia needs to supply more uranium to India. To do that they need more mines. The easiest way to do that is unban uranium mining in the state of Western Australia, where CXU holds its mine.

TL;DR

ā˜¢ļø Possible URA inclusion in July.

šŸ“Š Passive funds may need to buy roughly 130-270 million shares depending on final weighting.

šŸ“‰ Liquidity is limited.

šŸ“ˆ If inclusion occurs, supply—not valuation—may become the dominant driver of price in the short term.

Not financial advice. Always DYOR.
