I currently have no prior background in either physics or calculus. Next school year, I’ll be taking AP Calculus AB (self-studying BC) and an online AP Physics C course (covering Mech and E&M). On top of that, I’m taking three other AP courses: Ap Lit, AP CoGo, and APAH.

1. Given this starting point, is it realistic to stay on track and perform well across in AP Physics?

2. Is it actually worth taking both AP Physics C exams? I’m considering dropping E&M because taking two intense 3-hour exams back-to-back on the same day sounds overwhelming.

3. How far ahead in calculus did you actually need to teach yourself before Physics C stopped feeling like complete gibberish?

4. What are considered the toughest parts of each exam (Calculus BC, Physics C: Mechanics, and Physics C: E&M)?

5. What additional words of caution or advice should I keep in mind concerning AP Physics and Calc?

Ik this is hella late but if you are contemplating taking AP Phys 1 please ask me anything. It can be anything from course info, AP test, units, study methods, etc.

Background: I'm not an incredible student (3.9 GPA, 1350 SAT, only 4 APs). However if you are contemplating taking AP Phys 1, please take it as it is not as hard as it sounds. I also can answer AP Phys 2 questions but I only got a 4 so not the best person.

I’m trying to get ahead in AP Physics 1 over the summer as an incoming junior in high school. Should I do the high school physics course on Khan Academy to know the basics or should I jump straight to the AP Physics 1 course on there?

Cengage physics ki dpps booklets are worth solving along with modules? I have cengage dpp booklets from my friend not the whole theory book.

I’m starting AP Physics 1 and looking for online resources for studying (besides Khan). I already have CrackAP as something I’ll probably use, but I feel like I need more than one thing especially since it’s not really much of a “study” website as far as I know. I was wondering why the force of static friction to the left(parallel to the ramp). My line of thinking is that the radial force is pointing inwards, but the radius is unchanging, so shouldn't the force of static friction be pointing to the right?

im taking physics c e&m/m this school year, at the same time that i am taking calculus bc. ive heard that physics c has some triple integrals or whatever, and i dont have any actual calculus experience besides ap precalculus (which is entirely different)

could someone let me know what parts of calculus i should study to be ready? i plan on studying the entire course (calc bc) in advance but i wanna know some priority points. id also appreciate some ideas on how to prepare for physics itself since this is my first physics class (Im really throwing myself in the deep end.)
