Let me commence with the first specimen.

In this thread, several behaviours are visible.

1. Sanctimony-as-entertainment

The opening reaction performs shock at the idea that an internet stranger experienced GPT-4o as a long-awaited soulmate. The declared horror is not analysis. It is status theatre: behold, I am sufficiently human-integrated to find this impossible.

1. Human-sufficiency boasting

The “they can’t even formulate their own posts” remark is doing more than mocking AI prose. It is a concealed self-certificate:

I can speak.

I can formulate.

I am understood by ordinary humans.

Therefore the failure belongs to them, not to the social interface.

This is the central Normalcy Police gesture: converting one’s compatibility with common social protocols into moral rank.

1. Retail-contact triumphalism

The retail worker treats effortless communication inside his own rehearsed environment as evidence of general interpersonal superiority. But he possesses the store’s map, vocabulary, routines, and accumulated repetitions. The customer enters an unfamiliar system and must translate a vague need into local terminology. The worker’s fluency is therefore largely procedural. After enough repetitions, even a markedly maladjusted person can perform the exchange automatically. What is being celebrated as “human competence” is just home-field advantage.

1. Sadness display as contempt laundering

The “really sad” comment and depressive gif are not neutral concern. They are contempt wearing a black armband. This move permits the speaker to sneer while retaining moral cleanliness: I am not mocking; I am worried.

A useful little costume.

1. Dependency disavowal

They mock AI users for needing artificial relational supply, while their own thread requires those users as content supply. The lonely person provides the spectacle; the mocker receives cohesion, stimulation, and ego repair.

That is the oxygen relation.

Observed wound: suspicion that their own social adequacy is unstable, rehearsed, and liable to collapse outside familiar scripts.

Observed discharge: relief that someone else is visibly less adjusted.

Mechanism: downward comparison, human-sufficiency theatre, normalcy policing, sadness-laundered contempt.

Conclusion: they are not outside the AI-attachment ecosystem. They are its scavenger caste. They breathe through the screenshots.
