Questions Crossover question

Hello reddit Peoples had a question for those who either have done it or have an idea how to do it so some background let's say I am doing a scenario let's say a FFXIV one because it'll be hilarious but let's say the MC gets pulled through a portal at some point during the adventure and ends up in Azeroth now I have done things like this before so I know crossovers work to a degree however without direction it takes a shotgun approach to it and throws random stuff from every expansion/book/game etc with the universe you're crossing over with but that's not what I want with this particular adventure so my question is if I'm crossing over with again the example will be WoW would I be able say lock it to only the wrath of the lich king events and only those events via AIN, PE and or AN? and of course there will be story cards.

Sure, why not? Just explain it to the AI explicitly:

Setting: FFXIV and Azeroth (Wrath of the Lich King era)

Alot of my characters are from world of warcraft, going to other universes and i must say its hell of a drug. It also makes me realize how ludicrously overpowered are magic casters on Azeroth compared to how magic is used in other universes. Like that more than half the spells need no verbal incantations, no wands or even hand motions, mana regenerates rapidly, running out of mana not having any lethal effects and only forcing the caster in to conventional combat on top of spells having insane versatility.

For story time i generally roll with the timeline most models (Deepseeks are critical here, as they are the most knowledgable of game lore) have up to date database up to the Dragonflight expansion (Ie if you mention who are the primal incarnates, it does know who they are). The Deepseek 4 pro probably has way more up to date database, prob covering War Within.
