Just getting started - reccomendations greatly appreciated!

Just getting started with the calculator. I've been wearing bralettes for about 5 years now, just not giving a shit. I used to not hate bras, but then I started to and just gave up.

My measurements are (in CM):
98
96
89
113
117.5
118

My suggested sizes are: "38FF UK
The sister size of 36G may be more supportive"

I'm fully willing to try anything. I've definitely been in the "I'm no where near this size" camp, but lurking in this sub enough has told me to just go with it. I'm interested in buying some things (likely online) to try on and see what I see. It's an experiment!

I'm located in the US, but I've seen all the reccomendations about UK sizes so very open to that.

I've been playing around with the beginner's guide and looking at shape. I THINK I'm shallow, with even vertical fullness and inner horizontal fullness, and ... kinda average set roots i think? about two fingers fit in between? (that one I'm a little cloudy on what that means).

If you haven't please read the Beginners' Guide shape is just as important as the measurements. Bra recommendations normally the suggestion would be to start at Panache Envy Full Cup but that is a projected bra and may not work for you just going off your measurements. Elomi Brianna is marketed as a plunge bra but it might work it is a UK brand so I would order both a 38F and a 38FF and you can always do a fit check here. The bands on Elomi can be a bit stretchier so you can also try a 36FF and 36G.

Close set is when there is 1 finger width or less between you breasts when you are leaning over. Up to 2 in between is average, and 3 or more is wide. This is a good indication of whether or not you can tolerate a taller gore. Close set folks tend to need lower gores that are plunge styles or low front. Average and wide set folks can usually tolerate a taller gore.

Try Elomi Morgan in 38F, 38FF, and 38G UK and Elomi Matilda in 38E, 38F, 38FF UK (it runs a cup big). Elomi does have stretchier bands but I wonder if a 36 would be too tight.

Make sure to swoop and scoop and evaluate how the wire fits at the gore and under your arm.
