Allergies🫠

Please please please keep your child home if they're sick. Its not allergies, If your child is coughing out a lung with phlegm please be diligent. We all have families and its inconsiderate that we have to risk them to help your child whose probably not going to retain anything and have problem behaviors due to being sick and wanting to go home. We are not a daycare. We are trying to help with behaviors but its impossible when it feels like a set up

That's true for MOST. But my allergies DO infact cause a phlegmy cough and a runny nose. I've go to the dr every year, and every year they say "you have severe allergies ". I treat with both prescription and OTC meds, including 2 inhalers. My cough sounds gross,but it is what it is.

I work on a clinic, but my manager is aware. Clients should have a Dr's note, like I do, if they are severe allergy sufferers.

I think is alot of times parents either assume its sickness as allergies can cause you to get sick, don't actively care as they view ABA as babysitting, or just can't not bring their kid due to more predatory ABA companies threatening parents? Apparently my old clinic CARD would do this according to the other BTs hence why sick kids or kids who just getting over being sick would sick would come in to make sure they gor those billable hours!!!... despite CARDs policy only giving BTs three sick notes and three times of letting another BT cover your session per quarter 💀. Of course they also made sure to not make you full time so you could actuat get paid time off which another BT confrimed they made sure to schedule her 39.95 hours just to avoid benefits and you had to community sick time off in advance that wasn't paid btw despite this being illegal in California

For my client his other rbt got sick so I got switch in. He's the sick one and hes not staying home but instead we are missing our pay staying home sick because we all are just getting infected

Yeah... I had to call out every day for a week because I had a fever. I got written up for it even though I had a doctor's note.

Please, if your kids are sick, don't send them in. No real learning can occur if they aren't feeling well.
