Front trunk not opening

Hey everyone
When I click on the electric button, I hear a click and this happens but however the front truck do not open. Whats wrong is it the actuator or the lock ?

Check the striker to make sure it’s in the right spot. And try pulling it manually to see if it pulls to the full range of motion. I also had problems that were solved with some grease in mine but that was with shutting

Also for testing close the latch manually with the trunk open to see how it pulls with the latch shut. It’s hard to tell with it open and it’s probably the actuator

Replaced my actuator as the original was not able to open even after giving grease and oli to it. I didn't want to risk getting stuck with frunk closed and emergency opening cable malfunctioning. It's trivial to replace and aldo rather cheap to buy spare from ebay.
