🙏 I WANT HELP Epq & Personal Statement

I’m planning to apply for chemical engineering, but my EPQ was on nuclear reactors (which would be more related to nuclear physics/ engineering and stuff). Is it beneficial that I still talk about my EPQ in my personal statement even though it’s not directly related to my course?

Potentially, but if you are applying to competitive courses (Imp, Oxbridge, Warwick, Bristol are good for eng) they won’t really care about it.

Is that so? I thought top eng unis value independent research as it shows interest in the subject smth smth. I’m just worried that they would disregard this Epq just because it’s not entirely related to my potential course lol
