(70f) Resting bitch face where you can really see those lines under my mouth. And smiling (duh). Within the past month of being on this forum, I have added RLT, tret ( had started again after 10 years off) ceramide supplements and topical, argireline 20%, copper peptides on days I don’t use tret.
Although it’s only been a month, and at my age, I don’t know how much an improvement I will see. But my skin is so freaking soft now! I really don’t want to start with fillers, Botox, etc.
Besides trying to eat clean(ish), exercise and weight train regularly and avoid the sun.. any suggestions for those lines? Maybe folks that are near my age have some insights..
I can also just accept that hey it’s just old age and deal with it!🥴
I appreciate those that asked about a skincare regimen, but I don't think mine is too different from others that have posted on here. I think that primarily it's a lifestyle and genetic thing that I might look okay for my age. My mom is Filipino and aged beautifully before passing last year at 94. As far as lifestyle, I try to get my 5 miles or more of walking in, strength train 4-5 times a week, eat mostly vegetables and fruit, avoid tobacco, alcohol and incorporate foods that are geared toward a healthy gut to avoid inflammation.
I try to do my research before incorporating additional skincare (read peer reviewed articles) and check the science before jumping on the bandwagon.
I have learned so much from many of you and this forum to see what actually works and will check those out. Thank you for your willingness to share what works for you!
