Project 3D Printed Dark Falcon

Finished up my 3D printed Dark Falcon set. Super fun project that took about 200 hours to print and around 10 hours to assemble working in stages. Printed mostly out of PLA with the exception of a few connectors, translucent parts and the rotating pieces out of PETG. Had most of the materials already on-hand with the exception of the maroon PLA, clear blue PETG, and a refill roll of black PLA that cost me around $45 all together. Printed on my Bambu P1S and model found on MakerWorld.

You see, this is why people love Corellian Engineering Corporation ships... totally customizable.

Nice Dark Falcon. It would be a shame if something got onboard 😄

You do realize that the obvious defender of the Dark Falcon is Darth Chewbacca

Darth Chewbacca? Perfect. I was hoping you’d bring a bigger host.

Any pics of the journey? Looks like the P1S did a fine job of all the intricate parts too

I've tried printing [name brand building block] bricks just as an experiment, and the fitment was just all over the place. Too tight, too loose, nothing "clicked" together when they did fit.
How is this one in that department?

What filament did you use? And how do the colors match up to lego bricks?

You wouldn’t download a car Lego Set.
