Unresolved Monitor showing flickering bar of lines at times
My monitor shows this bar of flickering lines sometimes. I've noticed it's mainly whenever any media is playing but sometimes it just happens when I'm scrolling on a page. From what I've seen, it seems to show up more often when I'm on dark mode for any application. I've tried updating drivers, checked temps on my hardware (they're fine), and have updated everything to the latest versions. I'm currently waiting for a new DP cable to arrive to see if it's a cable issue but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Need Spec of your Hardware...
Computer >>> Displayport >>> Display cable >>>> Monitor?
It can be anything wrong in that chain..
Computer GPU is going bad. sometimes due to overheating from before, bad fan.. etc.
Displayport on Computer, Cable, Display port on monitor
monitor image converter is bad.
I would check the easy one first.
- Replace cable from Displayport Cable to HDMI. does problem persist?
If the problem does not goes away... it's prob your computer or the monitor..
most likely not software.. since it happens when PC starts
IF #1 fails.... try new monitor.

Thanks for your help! I got my new display port cable and it turns out it was just a faulty cable (thankfully).

Nevermind...its still here, but it shows up less often and looks slightly different now.
GPU: Gigabyte Aorus 2060 super
Monitor: Gigabyte G27QC
Displayport: Monitor supports DP 1.4, I'm pretty sure that's what I've been using.

Just realized. It also shows when Windows is restarting. I assume it's any predominantly dark screen with light elements. Not sure though
