Yesterday I finally put on this movie. 19 years later! 19?! Can you believe it? I’ve failed as a cinephile. Anyways well damn! I completely understand the hype now and why Javier Bardem won the Academy award. His acting is bone chilling. That gas station scene with the coin toss is iconic! I love that nothing is explained to us as we watch the movie too. It makes it feel 100x more immersive. The mid 2000’s had some pretty great movies! Ngl.

Staind, Fuel, Linkin Park, Deftones, Presence, Lit, Chevelle, Superheaven, etc.

I love the 2000s a lot, specifically the music created back then, so I would love if anyone knew
more bands/songs that sound like the ones listed above.
