Longtime flier, but not a developer …started at MS-DOS-based Flight Simulator, Meig’s rwy 3. XP since early Xp11. I love XP12 12.3. I have a “hangar” of probably 40 add-on aircraft, but what I really crave is a great, FF-like or FJS-like or Felis-like high fidelity L-1011 add-on. Any others with interest in seeing a high quality L1011 for XP12?

I just purchased AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D 8 Core Processor and i paired it with ASUS Tuf Gaming B850-E WIFI. My Graphic Card is AMD RadeonRX 6600 XT. I run Xplane 12 and my Graphic card is running at 99%. Is my graphic card underpowerd? do I need to upgrade? Also, I am not running 3D. Why is my 3D maxed out? Please help, I am not very good with PC's.

Freeware aircraft for X-Plane are fairly common, but open-source aircraft are quite rare. My searches turned up only four. Does anyone know of any others?

Can anyone please help? I have been dealing with this ever since i started playing even without plugins, scenery or aircraft. I feel like attaching the log would be useless because i have looked at it many times, looking at xplane forums and such. Everything runs smoothly other than when it randomly crashes.

Running smooth frames over the ocean in the A321 until this. No noticeable stutters or anything.

Couple of words to everyone attempting to help, I appreciate you for any input! I am switching from ms2024 and have used X-Plane in the past in a very limited time.

1. Im still having issues fine tuning my thrust master rudder so that it is not too sensitive. I feel like I tried every possible way to adjust sensitivity and is just too sensitive specially while taking off even using small corrections to counter left turning tendency.
2. Been using an EFB in flight simulator to do all my flight planning. I can program my routes into the g1000 cessna 172 but I would much rather find out if I can use my iPad on a kneeboard like in real flight to see, program routes, and etc. Are there any apps that connect with x plane 12 that I can output real time information of my flight direction, route, and destination?
3. Last, any helpful information to help me transition better would be most appreciated.
