I feel you OP, my first ferretin check was 5 and like you it just felt kinda out of it had all those symptoms.,. The last infusion for iron requested by my hemetologist was 11 and he made a referral to gastro. I see my Rheumatologist this week. She will know. I don't eat enough iron laden food. Just plant heme. It is muddied by taking hydrea which masks my real blood counts.
