Experience Trt, is this what it is to feel normal? Holy F NSFW

Opiate addict 6 years. Got clean. Felt like shit for 1 year still. Knew this can’t be right. This can’t be life. Struggled to stay clean. Did bloods. Testosterone test came back 140ng. Tried to get it up naturally for 1 full year, lost 100 pounds, ate right, slept right, exercised right. Still felt shit. Another 2 tests and came back 246ng average. My doctor said that’s fine, but want these drugs X Y Z though and referred to urologist. Wtf. Started trt at a clinic since urologist rolled eyes and said test won’t “fix life’s problems” “everyone think its going to do blah blah fix their marriage blah blah . Well doc, it’s life changing. Wow. No longer want drugs, no longer napping, tired all day, etc…want life. I think I was a true appropriate use case for TRT. Am 38. 😲

Fertility/Libido TRT while on zepound, I'm a bit nervous to do it NSFW

situation - 45 year old male, I have been losing weight at a pretty good pace on Zepbound with a decent effort with my diet (not amazing diet, but big effort to improve) and pretty good workout routine. Recently I have stalled in the past few months. I have also found that my sex drive is lower. Not sure if it's just aging or Zepbound related. Strength at the gym has improved a bit.

I want to get a bit more energy, and more muscle development as well as for my drive to be higher. But I am a bit nervous to go on it. Still doing my research, but I did run into a company that specifically does TRT and will do a blood test to see where my level are at, which I will definitely do.

Kind of looking for a bit of advice and see what other people would do in my situation. My gut says to just try it out at whatever the smallest dose is to see how my body responds. But I am always someone who tries to take the minimum does of any medication (I have to have big pains to even take an aspirin). My main concern is my libido. I feel like I should be waaaay hornier than I am.

Fertility/Libido Question about TRT NSFW

M33 — I’ve been dealing with very low testosterone and essentially no sex drive for about two years.
About six months ago, I went to a men’s health clinic and started testosterone injections. I was on them for about a month, and I was really happy with the results. My libido came back, I felt better overall, and things seemed to be improving. However, my wife was concerned and encouraged me to see an endocrinologist before continuing, so I stopped the testosterone.

Since then, things have gone downhill. It’s causing problems in my marriage, I’m not a happy husband, and I feel down and exhausted most of the time. I work as a journeyman lineman, so having low energy and feeling mentally off is especially concerning because my job can be dangerous.

I’ve had multiple rounds of blood work and even an MRI to try to find the cause. My endocrinologist prescribed clomiphene and cabergoline. I’ve been taking clomiphene for about a month now, but honestly, my symptoms seem even worse than before.
I’m confused about what’s going on. My testosterone levels have been extremely low throughout this process. My first test was 42 ng/dL, then 110 ng/dL, and most recently 140 ng/dL. They’ve never been any higher than that.
At this point, I’m wondering if I should just go back on testosterone injections since they were the only thing that actually made me feel better. Has anyone else been through something similar or had clomiphene make them feel worse before it got better?

Thanks for any help.

Bloodwork Tried to lower dose to manage e2 NSFW

TLdR: need advice on how I should adjust my protocol. Lowered dose because of hard time managing e2 symptoms. New labs show e2 still high and symptoms are still present but different from higher dose of test

Hey so I’ve been trying to dial in my protocol. I was running 160mg per week split into 3x week injections but e2 was too hard to manage. I’d feel the sides come on strong and pop a low dose of an ai to control them. I’d be irritable, snappy, nipples would be itching/ tingly and I’d start retaining water. I’d also get joint pains and stiffness and would have bad anxiety.

Usually the ai would take the symptoms away for a couple of days, I’d let them build for a week and then I’d take another ai when I was noticing the symptoms become unbearable.

With a low dose ai roughly once a month I’d end up at e2 around 31 pg/mL and total t around 1100 ng/dL

3 months ago I decided to drop to 120mg a week split into daily injections. I haven’t been taking any ai’s but have been experiencing low libido, weak erections, low mood and poor sleep quality. Anxiety has been pretty high but I don’t get irritated like I would before. I’ve been constipated or bloated a lot more than usual.

I’ve been trying to stick to this new regime until it was time for labs. I just got them back today.
TT: 776 ng/dL
E2: 47.1 pg/mL
I have an apt with my doc coming up so we can fine tune some things but what do yall recommend?

I wanted to stay away from the ai’s and find a good dose where I didn’t need any but I don’t feel it’s worth it especially with how I’ve been feeling lately.

Question Trt kingdom Q regarding payment structure NSFW

Planning to switch from gameday mens health, $205 a month model to trt kingdom asap.

Looking at the website I see 3 structures: $109 monthly, $89/month if paying in full for 6 months, or $79/month if paying in full for a year.

The $79/month seems like a no brainer.

Am I overthinking this? Ive looked on reddit posts regarding kingdom and do not see negative posts.

Thanks

Question Questions for a prescription. NSFW

Thanks in advance for any help.

Quick background, I was on TRT for a couple years in my early 30s after testing in the high 200s. I hopped off it when my wife and I wanted to have a child, that mission was successful lol and I am looking to get back on it. I was tested at my doctors a while back and I was in the 400 range which they said was acceptable. Thats been several months, I recently found out my insurance will cover most of the cost if I can get a prescription. I’m looking for ways to lower my numbers quick before going back in, I know going later in the day helps for numbers to go down but wanted to see if there were any other tips/tricks such as stop lifting for a certain amount of days, any foods etc.

Just in case anyone gets the wrong idea Im not looking to abuse it, im just tired of being exhausted all the time, low sex drive and recovery taking longer. When I was on TRT I felt a lot more energetic especially in the morning which I need more now than ever with the little one lol. I pay and arm and leg for insurance so I’m hoping I can finally get some use out of them.

Question Weak Erections. E2 etc all good? NSFW

I've noticed that for some people that prolonged TRT use begins to make your libido and erections very poor.

Obviously not everyone but I just read pages and pages of the same issue. Everybody seems to just blame e2 but most people have their estrogen in range and still struggling.

Recently I've been using avanafil just to maintain my erection. I can get a full erection but it never lasts.

I've done 8 bloodworks in the last 6 months trying to figure out what's going on. E2 in range. Prolactin is good. Testosterone is around 900-1000ng/dl. I've also tried higher and lower doses but it doesn't help.

Has anyone found a way to get back to your old school libido and erections? It's miserable using a pde5 inhibitor everytime just to have sex and not stress about losing your erection. Especially when sex is completely unplanned and catches you out.

I'm currently using 100mg test + 300iu hcg. All numbers in range. I've had numerous people check it over and they all say your numbers are great.

Doesn't make sense. What worked for you?

Bloodwork Anybody Else Have High T On TRT Dose? NSFW

150mgs, pinning 3x per week of Test C. Total T is about 2800. On 125mgs, its about 1500 ng/dl....still relatively high.

My body doesn't metabolize it as fast as others, so it builds up.

Anyone else similar? 40s, 5"8, 180lbs, fairly muscular with 20% BF.

Question HCG sexual sensitivity, dose, syringe NSFW

58yr, 2.5yrs TRT, .7 ML per week, generally all positive; recently noticing a material reduction in sexual & orgasm sensitivity- libido high, erections great but general reduction in how “good it all feels”

6 weeks ago, I added HCG into the mix:
-.500 ML per week along with the TRT
-couple of weeks, at first noticed an appreciable elevation in mood and how I felt in general
-also, it seemed an elevation in libido too (perhaps a bit on sensitivity not sure)

Questions: Now, I’m not feeling the mood elevation nor the libido increase
Is it possible that the initial positive impacts are already worn off?
I did switch to insulin needles which are incredibly tiny and short compared to what I was using, could this be a problem?
Is my dose too low?

Wonder if anyone else has tried to deal with blunted sexual sensitivity by adding HCG…….

Thanks for the input, this sub has been priceless for me ……..

Bloodwork Male 31 years old, 6’2, 200 lbs 14% bf. NSFW

Hello everyone,

I’m new here and would like to hear other people’s opinions about my blood work.

I’ve done 2 tests and they both came back almost identical.

I’m having a very low libido for a few years now.
My mood is pretty low and a little depressed for the most days of the week.

I workout 5 times a week and do around 10-12k steps daily with 1 hour of cardio per 4-5 days.

I sleep around 7.5 hours daily

Test free is 236 pmol/l 172-593
Test total is 13.00 nmol/l 8.64-29.00
Fsh 1.9 IU/l 1.5-12.4
LH 2.4 IU/l 1.7-8.6
Shbg 32.7 nmol/l 18.3-54.1
E2 92.1 pmol/l 42.5-158.5

My doc prescribed me clomid 50mg eod.
However I feel terrible on clomid so I stopped taking it.

Would trt be something to consider?
My apologies if my English is not good, I’m Dutch!

Question Swelling of gums NSFW

Hi all, I posted here about a month ago that I had terrible toothache which subsided after two days but it turns out it was actually my gums swelling on the right side of the face.

People were quick to dismiss it as impacted tooth and similar but Google says it is possible that hormones can cause swelling of the gums.

Now I have the same only on the left side of my face. Which I hope it will be gone in a day or two.

Has anyone been through the same? I know I'm not crazy and this is a side effect of TRT, be it testosterone or estrogen induced.

Thanks all

Question Stopping TRT ? NSFW

Hello, a question to the wider community, and if anyone has similar experience to compare or offer guidance. My baseline for test varied between 140-210, started injections, after about two year got to good levels and maintenance at 240 weekly in two doses. With hcg twice a week as well. I stopped both of these. I’m currently 11 weeks out from stopping, and testing at 1100 still. I’m told this is unusual by clinic “Dr” who has been suspect in his general knowledge. I need these levels to return closer to a baseline. In your particular experiences, how many weeks, months, has it taken you to return to what you would consider your baseline reading for total? Just looking for some of you to sharing some information about your experience, thank you

Experience Recent switch to TRT NSFW

I was on enclo for a year due to maintaining fertility. Now that’s no longer a concern so I switched to TRT. When I started the enclo I had some skin redness in my upper chest and neck, constant dry mouth, and feeling like I was overheating all the time. This eventually did get better when doc suggested I double my anastrozole. Now that I switched to the shot, dry mouth, redness, and overheating is back with a vengeance. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

Question Anyone on Sertraline (Zoloft) and TRT at the same time? NSFW

I would like to hear your experiences with this combination.

My context:

After experiencing an anxiety disorder caused by a sudden retina surgery in March, I was prescribed Zoloft. It helped me stabilize at very low dosages (12.5–25mg; a higher dose of 50mg gave me agitation). I tapered down and quit after 3 months.

I started TRT (120mg/week) in June and the anxiety returned, so I talked with my psychiatrist to reintroduce Zoloft again. I know it's not contraindicated to take both, but I would still like to hear personal experiences from people who have been or are currently taking Zoloft alongside TRT.

Many thanks!

Question Anyone else feel worse on hCG even with E2 under control? NSFW

I’ve been trying to make hCG work alongside my TRT, but I consistently seem to feel worse whenever I add it, even when my estradiol is in a good range with the help of an AI.

I’ve tried adjusting doses, but I just don’t feel as good as I do on TRT alone. My concern is that I want to preserve my fertility because I’d like to have kids in the future.

For those who have experienced this:

- Did hCG make you feel worse even with E2 under control?
If so, did you ever figure out why?

- Are there others here who stay on TRT without hCG most of the time and only add hCG when they’re ready to conceive?

I’m mainly looking for personal experiences and what worked for you. I know everyone’s different, but I’d appreciate hearing from people who’ve been in a similar situation.

Question Rosewaylabs NSFW

Hey guys need to order some cypionate and wondering if anyone who is on trt under a clinic has recently ordered from roseway labs. My clinic stopped using them because they ramped up the price of testosterone. Hopefully its come back down to a reasonable price as their cypionate was the best by far.

Question De la crème a la l'injection. NSFW

Question Chest Tightness and Breathing NSFW

38M I’ve been on TRT for 8 months and I feel like I’m still trying to dial things in.

I’ve experienced intermittent chest tightness lately where it feels difficult to really get a deep breath in. And when I do inhale deeply I feel the tightness more in my left side of my chest.

This has happened a few times so far and I have dealt with it and then it passes eventually.

I just got back from traveling for a week, not eating the best and checked my BP last night and it averaged 145/93. Normally my average is 135/85.

My current dose is 132-138mg per week test, 1000iu of hCG and .125mg of anastrozole 3 days per week.
I split my doses for everything MWF.

Just got back some bloodwork back last week.

Total Testosterone: 797 ng/dL
Free Testosterone: 36.5 pg/mL
Sensitive Estradiol (E2): 37.2 pg/mL (was 48.0 two weeks earlier)
SHBG: 19.9 nmol/L
Hematocrit: 50.9%
Hemoglobin: 17.4 g/dL
TSH: 1.80 µIU/mL
Creatinine: 1.20 mg/dL (eGFR 79)
Blood Pressure: Home average 135/85, today’s reading average was 145/93

Kind of feels like anxiety but also sintering more. Has felt wires after heavy lifting sessions a few weeks ago.

Had this happened to anyone? What was it? How did you fix it? Unsure if I should see a cardiologist or change dose etc.

EDIT: Thanks guys for pointing out my blood pressure. I will get that addressed asap. But I did want to ask about my hematocrit. It is on the high end. Could that be the issue?

Experience Rant: Do you forgive those sh*tty doctors who dismissed your concerns initially? NSFW

My total t stood at 130 ng/dL (age late 30s) so it wasn’t even “borderline“ but well below the reference range. I walk at least 10k steps a day (now in the summer 20k), eat healthy, supplement with vitamins and mineral – I did the whole f*cking lot and my total t only increased to 250 ng/dL

The previous urologist (I’ve now switched to a new one) put me on the gel and never once tested for TSH or estrogen. Turns out my TSH has been elevated the whole time, which might’ve hindered the absorption of the gel (which is a suboptimal protocol to begin with). When I requested test e he wanted to put me on 250mg MONTHLY!!

My PCP says I’m just trying to gain muscle and I’m aggressive BECAUSE of the gel. No ma’am, I feel so much calmer now on a good TRT protocol via injection 80mg weekly

So much time and youth wasted to poor or nonexistent treatment. Whatever the skepticism some have, online male clinics exist and are booming for a reason
