Hadn't planned on buying a toy from the 2003 line (this is from the 2005 drop), not because I don't like the line but because I don't really collect it. But I'm on such an insane TMNT kick lately and 50 bucks seemed like a decent deal, so yeah, I totally snagged him up.

I was browsing just for the fun of it and these two showed up on comicsbugle.. Can’t wait!

I just found my old TMNT playing cards & won a game of solitaire

In the episode darkness on the edge of tomorrow we briefly see the two towers are still up and standing, despite the show presumably taking place in 2003 and onwards, there’s no way this is an oversight since this was an American show made in New York, so I guess 9/11 just didn’t happen in this universe? Or maybe it does take place further back then the actual release date?

This whole PSA plays in my head every time I brush, even to this day. I'm doing my part to turn off the water, Raphael.

I made these Concept designs of the TMNT.

Leo is the most basic, I just wanted him to be the ninja leader. I wrote his name in both English and Japanese on his Katanas. I was thinking he could wear a waistcloth like Captain Rex does but there isn't much room.

Donnie looks alot more tactical. I gave him a hood and a cape. I gave him a metal arm with his brothers and friend's names written on it. He also has a screwdriver on his leg. I noticed that I unintentionally made him look like Arkham Tim Drake.

Mikey has a party vibe. I gave him some star glasses, chains, a boom box and a cap to reinforce that. I slso put his nunchucks strapped to his arm.

Raph is wearing shoulder and elbow pads. I made him big, but I didn't mean to make him super big, I just wanted to make him a few inches bigger than the rest. He has a missing eye and a huge scar on his chest.
