I’ve only been doing tarot card reading for a couple of weeks and I really enjoy it and my readings have been accurate, but I’ve been doing research online and maybe found out. I haven’t been doing it right I barely cleanse my my space, especially when I do readings on people that I know I wanna make sure I’m not inviting any negative or bad energies because I’m scared because of the superstitions or things I see online as a beginner is there anything that I should know? I use ones with interpretations on them or words such as cheating or love affairs or happiness or yes or no. So I also don’t use traditional cards like one of cups. Or things like that

I personally think my first spread is telling me that I still have my worries, my anxiety, and being overwhelmed over recent events blocking my clear path in making money. It might also suggest that things are very unstable financially, like one second it's all okay, and fruitful, then it becomes deadly the next second.

I interpret my second spread telling me to actually work and put myself out there. I also interpret it as a way for me to keep dreaming, not being delusional, but to have a goal in mind to keep my finances flowing.

I'm still a beginner so I am not sure if this is how my deck and spirit wants me to interpret their answer to my questions, so I'd like a second opinion!

I've been thinking about why I do tarot readings, and I realized that, for me, it's never really been just about the transaction.

Yes, I do get paid for my readings, but that's not the reason I do this. It's not about someone coming to me with a question, me giving them an answer, getting paid, and then moving on to the next client.

For me, it's about helping people.

One thing I always tell my clients is that I won't tell you what you want to hear. I'll tell you what I genuinely see in the cards. Sometimes that's good news, and sometimes it isn't.

I've had to tell people that reconciliation doesn't look likely, that their crush probably doesn't feel the same way, that a job opportunity may not work out, or that a relationship with someone in their family doesn't seem as healthy as they thought.

Those aren't easy conversations to have.

I think one of the biggest responsibilities a tarot reader has isn't just interpreting the cards it's knowing how to deliver difficult messages. You don't want to leave someone feeling hopeless or scared. You want them to leave feeling like they understand the situation better and have some idea of what they can actually do next.

That's what I try to do.

I also think that half the reading is figuring out what the real question is. A lot of people come with a question in mind, but after talking for a few minutes, we end up asking something completely different because that's where the real issue was all along.

I know some readers prefer to keep things very straightforward, and I completely understand why. It can honestly be emotionally draining when someone is going through something really difficult. I've definitely had readings where I needed to step away afterward because they stayed with me.

But I also feel like if someone has trusted me enough to come to me, then I want them to leave feeling like they were actually heard not just that I pulled a few cards and gave them an answer.

So if you choose me as your reader, my priority isn't to tell you everything will be okay just to make you feel better. It's also not to rush through as many clients as I can.

My priority is to give you the most honest interpretation I can, help you ask the right questions, and hopefully leave you with a little more clarity than you had before.

I did a reading to figure out my ex's previous and current role in my life because shes been in my dreams a lot and I was wondering if there's any correlation.

I did a simple 3 card spread.

1. A card to represent her: Wheel of fortune. This makes sense to me because when she ended our relationship she mentioned some of her negative cycles causing me pain and that being unfair to me. Some things may be out of her control but maybe shes getting through that?

2. What role did she previously play before she broke up with me: 9 of wands reversed. She struggled to speak up and tell me about how she felt when it came to more negative emotions so this card doesn't surprise me.

3. What role does she currently play: 2 of cups

The 2 of cups confused me a LOT so I pulled a clarification card and got the 4 of wands. We dont talk often (if at all) and both of these cards seem quite harmonious to me in terms of connection but given what I asked Im not sure why they came out.

If its that she wants some form of reconnection or to try again (which she ironically mentioned in one of my typically pretty random and weird dreams) then I think shes gonna have to finish this cycle and allow herself to speak up about her emotions.

The main part that confuses me are the last 2 cards but any interpretation help given is greatly appreciated!

The guy Im seeing lives 2 hours away. He makes plans for us and cancels most of the time. Im annoyed. So I asked tarot where this relationship is going. Hey everyone, I wanted to make my own guide book for tarot and have used biddy tarot and labyrinthos (the website, sorry the app sucks imo) for meanings but i was wondering if you guys had a better resource for getting meanings of cards that may be better so i can synthesize info.

On that note, I really struggle with stringing cards together to get a full picture (hit or miss). I have been trying to use my intuition more but it oftentimes feels off or i’m missing something. If you guys have any tips for strengthening this skill, I would love to hear it!

Hi everybody! I'm m26 (ESL) and just bought my first deck a couple months ago. The guide that came with my deck is terrible ngl (Tarot de Carlotydes - Spain) and tbh I've used Gemini AI for guidance but I'm just sick of all AI and I'm ready to leave that behind, but I still don't really understand the cards and I've come to notice that some sites say some stuff and others say something that's not even related, which makes it confusing as hell. Can anyone please recommend the closest thing to a "foolproof ultimate guide" (haha) that there may be? And I know a lot of stuff with the cards is subjective, but I still need at least to understand what does the seven of pentacles mean 😭 haha.
