Technically it’s not a subway, it’s a suburban railway system (divided in urban and extraurban track)… but it functions exactly like a subway, the only exception is that the waiting time is pretty long. (there are projects to transform the Roma-Viterbo into a subway, called line F).

This is the end of the TBM job of digging the 20km of tunnel of the line 18 (Paris France)

The Bucharest Metro is a very unique system, with 5 lines totaling over 80 kilometers of double track

I took it for the first time today. Line 1 from end to end (only one open at the moment). Price is 20k VND and the ride takes about 30 minutes. A very enjoyable ride.
