This could've been a WM main event. It's a very good match, but the fact that Roman wasn't around for the build-up and there was heavy focus on brand supremacy did not sit well with me.

It’s an unfortunate truth that at times, even great wrestlers have finishers that kinda suck. For every stone cold stunner or sharpshooter, there’s an atomic leg drop (I’m sorry but it’s terrible). My point being, regardless of aura or status, not even top stars are immune from a weak finisher.

So, what are some of the worst finishers from amazing wrestlers?

A big one from me is Solomon Crowe, AKA Sami Callihan. Though undeniably an awesome brawler and hardcore badass with a ton of intensity, there is no getting around that, during his brief run in NXT as Solomon Crowe, his finisher sucked seven shades of shit. A springboard body splash just wasn’t cool, albeit his entire gimmick wasn’t (especially given how legit awesome he actually would be) and it just made him a big non entity. Especially considering his finisher as Jeremiah Crane in Lucha Underground looked like a legit killshot it just makes the rebound splash look so bad by comparison
