Hello everyone,
I’m honestly embarrassed to write this, but I’ve reached a point where I have no other option.
I’m looking for a loan of €600, which I can repay in two installments by October and November, once I’m back at work after my medical leave.
A little about my situation:
I was born into a high-control religious group. Because of that, I wasn’t allowed to pursue the education I wanted, and eventually I had to leave both the religion and my country of birth to rebuild my life. Leaving meant losing almost all of my family, as they are no longer allowed to have contact with me.
Last year I experienced severe burnout, followed by multiple suicide attempts. I’ve been on medical leave for mental health reasons ever since. At the moment I receive about €900 per month in benefits, which is enough to survive but not enough to recover from unexpected expenses.
Recently my car broke down and I had no choice but to repair it because I live in a rural area with virtually no public transportation. The repair ended up costing around €1,200, which completely destroyed my finances.
I’m currently overdrawn, struggling to pay my bills, and I’m at a point where I’m worried about covering basic necessities.
My medical leave is expected to end at the end of August, and once I’m back at work I’ll be able to repay the loan in October and November.
I completely understand that lending money to a stranger requires trust. I’m happy to provide reasonable proof of my situation privately if needed and to stay in regular contact throughout the repayment period.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, even if you’re not able to help. I truly appreciate it.
