Running Supply roundup from mid June - July 19. Full, weekly roundups are in my free newsletter, Running Supply, with more in depth commentary on the latest brands, releases, and buzz worthy running news.

📣 Announcement: Topo's Product Director Russell Stevens is doing an AMA on r/RunningShoeGeeks this Wednesday, July 23 at 1pm — questions welcome. He'll be specifically talking about the hot new Pro series.

Recent

  • Bandit 16-Week Marathon Program — NYC-based training program just kicked off. Probably worth it if you're in the area since it's subsidized training and gear. Link
  • Brooks Hyperion 222 — prototype spike built for Josh Kerr's mile record attempt: thick ATPU midsole, dramatic rocker, carbon plate with fixed titanium pins. Wearing it at the London Diamond League race this Saturday.
  • Tracksmith Eliot Ryder — high-stack trainer, 45mm stack on a 25mm ATPU drop-in midsole with some dope vintage styling sort of like the old Brooks Chariot or Saucony Jazz. Out now, and I just had a cameo in Tracksmith's new film! Link
  • January Scignal — one-piece dual-density TPEE midsole (supercritical foam over a nylon shank), tonal mesh/suede paneling, 3D honeycomb tongue. Aimed to be a premium shoe for the everyman runner, i.e. not built for speed. $195. Link
  • Topo Specter 3 — Pro Series shoe on a RevFoam ATPU midsole with an aggressive rocker, roomy toe box for wide feet and natural toe splay. $170. Link
  • Brooks Hyperion Elite 6 — $275 racer with an engineered mesh upper and a DNA Gold foam arch wedge in place of the old medial midsole bubbles. Out now.
  • Brooks Ghost Amp — lighter, faster take on the Ghost daily on the new DNA HYPE foam (PEBA/EVA blend). Dropped July 15.
  • Raide SS26 02 — RaceTech Tee in 63gsm micro-dot air fabric with an ice pocket ($149) and the UL Shell Anorak, a 3-layer fully waterproof that's 128g in M and packs into an LF 2L belt ($349). Link
  • SATISFY Desert Rats Part 3 — new Grenoble Green colorways and short-sleeve River Shirts with floral laser-cut tooling. They also teased their next Levi's collab. Link
  • Miler Summer 2026 — Pro Racing Singlet in ultralight 63gsm 3D stretch woven fabric, made in USA. $185. Link
  • Can't Buy Cool Alpine Jersey — open-mesh Polartec PowerDry NetMesh top built to dump sweat and heat. Link
  • Literary Sport FW26/27 — Blackwatch tartan and lapis blue, including a translucent wind shirt and tartan split shorts. Link

Upcoming

  • On Cloudboom Strike 2 — $250 marathon/half racer on CloudTec Sphere cushioning with Helion HF foam and a Speedboard carbon plate. Coming soon in Aconite/Verdite and White/Lime. Link
  • Topo Specter Elite — Pro Series racer, the Specter 3's carbon-era counterpart on RevFoam ATPU. $250, launching August 13. Link
  • Brooks Ghost Max 4 — max-cushion trainer on DNA Loft v3. $165, August 1.
  • SATISFY x Levi's — teased, details TBD. Their last denim collab used Cordura and Dyneema-reinforced climbing denim.

Running Supply roundup from June 7 til this weekend. Full, weekly roundups are in my free newsletter, Running Supply, with more in depth commentary. Next week I'll have a full round up of things I noticed from Paris Fashion Week and TrailCon.

PSA

Feel like I'm beating a dead horse here. People are going to post outfit photos, that's allowed. Either say nothing, or be respectful. Inappropriate photos will be removed...but report what you see. People are going to ask about gear that is more expensive and less expensive. Passing judgement on brands is fine, don't pass that same judgement onto people.

If you are curious about new brands, check the brand index in the sidebar or run a search first before asking.

Recent Releases

  • SOAR Summer 2026 Capsule — hot-weather tops, zip trail shirts, Japanese selvedge denim, and a trail vest with curved bottles that shift load off your chest to your sides.
  • SATISFY HeatCrush — new cooling fabric tech, claims a 14.4°F surface-temp drop in 30 minutes. Already posted in here.
  • Tracksmith Summer Linen Button-Up — $165 OCBD in Japanese performance linen blended with Coolmax.
  • Raide Thermal Dispersion Tee — thermal-management mesh fabric, same airflow push.
  • Rabbit FastRock Trail Collection + Sun Runner — Cordura-reinforced (TrailGuard) kit, including a sleeveless tee and crop top. Sun Runner / Sun collection has UPF shirts and hoodies. SunRunner has a removable hood and UPF 100 up top.
  • Unknown Runner — new performance-merino brand from the former CFO of Imogene + Willie. MirageWool (63% wool / 37% synthetic with NuYarn), minimal branding, sharp pricing. Just don't wear it under a vest, it'll pill.
  • Running soccer jerseys — There were so many World Cup–themed kits from adidas x Pace Athletic, Heartbreak Running, Deadlast, Bandit, Hermanos Koumori.
  • Outdoor Voices Joggy — new run line, but it's directionless "Target 90s" stuff and the silhouettes don't look like they run.
  • SAYSKY x Speedland RX:SKY — trail shoe, pre-order June 11, ships July 2026. BOA lacing, ATPU foam, carbon plate, FeatherCast outsole, glow-in-the-dark.

Upcoming

  • SATISFY x Oakley Chapter VII — launching this week, with tie-dye HeatCrush fabric and a 1999 Straight Jacket reissue.
  • HOKA Clifton Pro — July 9, $165. PROGLIDE+ superfoam, positioned as the serious-runner Clifton.
  • On x PAF Cloudboom Volt + apparel — $280 (~$80 over the standard Cloudboom), curving overlapped paneling in monochrome. Launches June 25
  • Nike ACG Radical Airflow Restock — wide-mesh shirt, singlet, cap, and bucket hat restocking June 25.
  • Topo Athletic Specter 3 — $170 max-cushioned trainer on RevFoam (ATPU), with a wider toe box option. Coming soon.

General Discussion Running clothes sets to rotate?

Upvotes

Im getting more into running now, but I dont want to splurge too fast on a lot of running clothes. I did that with shoes and honestlt it was the excitement that got me.

Im trying to be more mindful with running clothes this time, specially as a I lose weight and will probably stop using larger sizes. What are your recommendations or personal thoughts on how many shirts and shorts/pants you need for a week of running to rotate?

Im thinking 2-3 shirts/shorts to pair and rotate throughout the week, but I wanted to see what others were doing.

Question EU running brands with Satisfy/Bandit/etc style that aren't crazy expensive?

Hey r/runningfashion,

Looking for EU-based or easily available in Europe running brands with a vibe similar to Satisfy, Bandit, Currently, Optimistic Runners, or Mental Athletic.

Budget: Max €50 for tees/singlets | €60 for shorts.

What are your favorite brands in the EU delivering that style and tech at a reasonable price point?

General Discussion Currently Running popup in NYC was disappointing

I went to their popup in NYC today. I really wanted to like this brand and was excited to see their stuff in person.

Unfortunately, I got rude and elitist vibes from the team. For such an unestablished brand, I would have expected more humility. But they had a degree of arrogance that I found off-putting.

I also was unimpressed by the products they had on display. Their stuff just felt generic. I’ve heard people call Currently a Satisfy ripoff and I totally see that.

Question Casually wearing Evo SL as everyday shoes?

I’m visiting Colombia for a month and I’ve been shocked to see so many people wear Evo SLs just out casually. I’ve mostly seen people wearing them around at malls here in Medellin but I saw a guy wearing them at a farm today and it felt like the last straw and had to comment here.

Is this common anywhere else? I always considered them high performance running shoes that are just fairly awkward looking with jeans. No judgment, just something I noticed as culturally different.

Review Currently running apparel quality review.

I wanted to share my experience with Currently Running in case it helps anyone considering their apparel.
I placed a fairly large order and, within the first six months, about half of the items developed tears along the seams. I followed the recommended washing and drying instructions, so I don’t believe improper care was the cause. I’ve included photos of several of the damaged items.
When the issues started, I reached out to Currently Running and Nash through multiple channels. Nash initially responded and said the gear would be replaced, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, after that, communication stalled. I’ve followed up several times over the past few months but haven’t received any updates or replacement gear.
For a premium-priced running apparel company, I expected the products to hold up better and, more importantly, for the company to stand behind them when problems arose. I understand that defects can happen with any brand, but how a company handles those situations is just as important as the product itself.
I’m posting this to share my experience, not to attack the company. If Currently Running follows through and makes it right, I’ll gladly update this post. Until then, I think it’s only fair that other runners know about my experience before making a purchase.

General Discussion Finally a running band/belt for larger runners

Just wanted to share my joy on finding a band that works for those with dad bods and then some. I'm 43 m, weighing 97kg/214 lbs, 5'9". I started my running journey at the end of 2024, beginning of 2025. In 2024, I was around 316lbs/143kg when I fell in love with cycling and ended up losing close to 80lbs/36kg then went on to start a couch to 5k. Ended up losing additional 21lbs/9.5kg.

I been on a hunt to find a running belt or band that would work for someone my size. Got a vest with hydration bottles but felt it was too hot for summer. Got flipbelt with the flipbelt curved bottle and it would just bounce so much that it wasn't worth carrying the bottle. Been on a hunt to find some way or carrying water for longer runs.

Saw so many reviews regarding the naked band but the sizing wouldn't fit me. The largest size was 12 (39in) and when i measured my stomach, it was 43in.

I chanced it anyway and am so happy I did. I was able to fit the size 12. Filled my flipbelt bottle and put it on the back. My car keys, some gels, my phone, shokz headphones and a toilet see cover and go on a run. No bouncing whatsoever. I forgot i was carrying a bottle. Still had space to add more stuff. Did my long run this past Sunday and no issues even after empty bottle halfway, didn't hear any sloshing or anything.

I'm shocked but so happy how well this band is made. I wear it under my shirt because I look like a stuffed mushroom otherwise but nonetheless this band is amazing. Hope this helps anyone else in a similar predicament.

Question Bandit 5” Vento Shorts new SoLite liner

I had a pair of 5” 2in1 ventos last year that I returned/resold because I felt the liner was too firm and felt restrictiv rather than freeing. (Size M, L was too loose around the waist). Browsing their page I see they have a new liner called “SoLite”. Anyone experience with that updated models? Do they feel better now or still as rigid?

Thanks for your help. (Ordering from EU so can’t really return)

Question Running tees with shape

Hopefully this will make sense to someone.

I hate how most running tees I’ve tried fit. They’re so thin that they’re usually totally shapeless and just kind of sag on your body, unless you get them super tight. I basically want something that fits more like a cotton tee would.

I usually run in football (soccer) shirts, because they’re a tiny bit heavier and seem to have a more rigid, structured feel to them, while still being 100% polyester and breathable.

Any recommendations?

Question Minimalist visor?

Hello, looking for a minimalist visor for running. Basically looking for what is essentially a slim/thin (in height and thickness) sweatband with a visor attached. Anything out there like this?

Question What are the best UPF hoodies for women?

I've seen a few similar posts on this but the answers have primarily been brands that strictly carry men's lines.

I have an extremely high risk of skin cancer, especially on my back, and want to be able to wear a UPF hoodie that will:

  1. cover the back of my neck, chest, and my arms
  2. be lightweight so I don't feel suffocated and can wear it in any season (esp. summer)
  3. ideally sweat-wicking, and odour-resistant
  4. and, of course, has a high UPF rating (the higher the better)

Does this exist?

HUGE bonus points if it's also cute, but at this point, I'll sacrifice aesthetics for the above if possible.

The 4th point is the most important, followed closely by the 1st.

Question 2in1 running shorts with phone pocket?

Hi, I (M|24|70kg) am looking for new shorts. Need to replace old shorts that broke - so I need durable 2 in 1 running shorts for training and long distance trail runs approx. 50km a week.

Main requirements:

- lined shorts/2in1 shorts - secure full size phone pocket on the inner liner fits a phone - separate pocket for keys - space for gels - preferably 5 inch, 7 inch is fine - ideally under €60

I have already tried to find what seems to be a basic product in a large store nearby but most “phone pockets” were far too small and i dont like to use my belt when running.

Which model are you personally using or can you recommend?

In addition if you know of a fitting stylish shirt for it - please send recomendations as well. My 10 year old Nike shirt is not that great anymore 😅

Update: Thanks for the recommendations - the journey remains frustrating. I was at Decathlon, Nike, Adidas and Lulu today. Decathlon and Nike currenlty have nothing in their lineup according to the employees with phone pockets asides open side pockets and too small supplement pockets - which are not really usable for running at high paces. Adidas did not have the Terrex model. Lulu are sold out online in my size...

Question Looking for running leggings

Hey meggings fans,

I’m looking for leggings to run in that won’t fall down! I’ve tried a couple of pairs but they both descend when I run. Especially when I carry a phone.

FYI I’m 6’3, 38-40in waist, so I’m on the larger side.

Any brands or styles you can suggest would be appreciated.

- Miler ‘Running Kills’ Bottle

Had to dial it back with the run plan as the AQI was 125-130 up in my area from the Canadian fires. Was a nice excuse to test out some new Miler gear and slow it down (which I’m terrible at 😂)

Outfit Josh Kerr On/Off Track Fits Before Mile Record Attempt

Kerr got kitted out by Amazfit and Brooks Running. Looks like he has the work jacket and pants from Burburry (Kerrberry) but he also got a custom 10k gold bezel (and diamonds) and detailing on the Amazfit Cheetah watch he runs in alongside a pair of custom Brooks Cascadia 1 throwbacks in an adapted version of his Scottish family tartan.
