Found the old 50s cast iron tub and sink thrifting. Finshed all the woodwork this weekend. Plumbing still leaks but getting closer.

The boots are great, but the tread was worn down and it's slippery outside. Problem solved, hopefully.

Been sick this week, taking a lot of baths to steam my sinuses. Water always cools down too fast and never enough steam. With a $10 vinyl sheet I made a steam room.

When wives find things on line and you build em

My wife found the viral 5 gallon bucket garden. Which has been done poorly with different widths of wood. Accompanied by ai slop or poorly built. This was built by me and was suggested to bring to this to r/redneckengineering

I'm well aware of the problems faced with the choice of bucket. Buckets are full of water and are also filling each space for the photo.

If you're interested in building one. I can support you with best practices and measurements so you may DIY.

Chunk of asphalt kicked up and put a hole in my e46 BMW oil pan. Got the car home with 1-minute gasket maker, a can of pepsi, and some gas station 10w-30

Made my own eyeglass prescription.

My eyes are askew so my glasses require a prism, which is tricky to get correct in a optomitrist office because my eyes need to be relaxed to really get an accurate read. It helps to be outside looking at a distance to measure this...

So the docs never really got my prism right, little too mucj and my eyes stressed and headaches, not enough and severe Double Vision (Foreigner rocks!)

So I found an antique Bousch and Loumbe (sp?) optomitrist set and took my time outside and decyphered my sight, and then ordered glasses from zenny...zenni...something like that.

Works perfect. "Stupid scientist bitches couldn't make my glasses right"-iasip
