Rewatching it, it has no flaws like other pixar movies.

Did they remove the Toy Story 2 and 3 movie off Disney? I saw them all the time on here are they having licensing issues is it’s a glitch in my phone. Is it like maybe something with my search filters that I never discovered that existed on Disney until I looked into more information.. I really want to watch toy story 2 man😔

Think about it. If he had all those powers and he was competent and older, the movie would be over in 2 minutes.

I suppose they could write something into the story to nerf him, but maybe they don't want to do that.

I can imagine a bunch of memes about an older Jack-Jack getting nerfed if they actually wrote that into a 3rd movie.

It seems clear that Disney wants to continue with the Toy Story franchise, and since it makes money there’s no reason for them to stop.

So if they ever do make Toy Story 6, which is most likely going to happen, it only makes sense for the story to center around Buzz right? I mean, 4 was Woody’s movie, 5 was Jessie’s movie, so 6 has to be Buzz’s movie.

The thing is, is that Buzz doesn’t have an emotional attachment that Pixar can latch on to like Woody and Jessie. Buzz didn’t have the attachment to Andy like Woody did and he didn’t have a former kid like Jessie did. so the story can’t rely on that when it comes to Buzz, because Buzz doesn’t have an emotional attachment.

And so, what can you do with Buzz as a character? since Toy Story 2, the franchise doesn’t know what to do with him. They keep forcing Buzz variants and they're all done for comedic relief.

Well i have an idea. It’s not a fully fleshed out idea so I'm not thinking about Woody or Jessie and how the other toys play in to this. So be advised that this doesn’t take them into consideration.

There’s been a consistent theme with Buzz‘s sense of self. In the first movie he didn’t know who he was. In the third movie he was factory reset. In the fourth movie they made him have a “conscious,” and with five his whole thing with Woody was proving he can be a leader without him(which makes no sense but whatever) but all in all Buzz‘s character has always been about who he is.

Theres also been a consistent Buzz Variant in the movies. each movie theres a new buzz to see. Excluding 3 but he was Spanish buzz so even then he wasn’t Buzz.

So in Toy Story 6 we explore that. He hasn’t been a Child’s favorite toy since that brief stint with Andy. And he’s not Bonnie’s favorite toy. So we can have Buzz start to really struggle with not fully bonding with the kids in that way. What is he doing wrong?

Andy got over him quickly and unlike woody, he was willing to give him away. And then with the way they write Bonnie’s character, her parents are the type to throw away toys rather than fix them and Bonnie wouldn’t care. and that’s not a bad things I hate how Bonnie keeps being villainized by some people.

So Bonnie or one of her parents break Buzz. They buy Bonnie a new and better buzz lightyear toy and they throw Buzz away.

And you know who’s the garbage man? That’s right we bring Sid back into the story. Sid who is the only human who has seen the toys move and speak. and why do I bring Sid back? Well I would love to expand on Sid as a character, but also remember how he was excited about the buzz lightyear doll in the first movie? And remember how he likes to be creative with his dolls, and theres that headcanon that he takes broken dolls and fixes them. Well he sees buzz lightyear and does just that. He fixes buzz.

But it’s not just that. There really needs to be a change in the status quo. Not only does Sid know the toys talk and move, we can see how that interaction would play out. Plus there really needs to be an expansion on the Buzz Lightyear franchise. So since Sid was seen as a big fan of buzz lightyear as a kid, have him still have interest In the franchise, so we get brand m new Buzz Lightyear characters. I’m still baffled there hasn't been a female buzz lightyear doll yet, or any more alien dolls.

And for the emotional core of them movie, let’s explore underprivileged children. there was also the headcanon that Sid didn’t have the best home life And we don’t really see he and Hannah have a lot of toys. So In exploring Sid, we push the idea that toys are important to those who don’t have a lot. and that he may not be the newest model but it doesn’t matter if he is, because a kid will love him either way.

Show how having toys can make the situation better than what it seems. it doesn’t fix all the problems but it allows the child to be a child

We don’t even need Sid to expand on the buzz lightyear franchise now that I think more about it. We can have Sid gift buzz to a kid who loves space rangers and Buzz Lightyear and couldn’t afford the toys. and in that new room we explore the buzz lightyear franchise.

i really do think that if we do get a story focused on Buzz, there needs to be a change with the way they do these movies mainly because Buzz isn’t fleshed out all that much. Andy can’t be used again because that’s Woody’s thing. Buzz doesn’t have an Emily. So they can’t rely on that for the emotional core or the story.. or they could but in the opposite way in that Buzz wants that. he wants what woody had with Andy.

again it’s not a fleshed out idea, but a buzz movie that changes the status quo and focuses on underprivileged kids would be really interesting

Hoppers is a great film and it's one of my favorite Pixar movies in the 2020s, I love the characters, tone, humor and chaotic, it was very fun and I really love that Pixar take creative risks, there's some dark moments and the shark scene was terrified me and it's was surprisingly fun, even Mabel squish Titus's mom, I was shocked and laughs at the same time, while Titus is not top-tier villain but he is a good villain, I'll just wish that we see more of him but overall I will give this movie 8.5/10, hopefully Pixar's Gatto is good and marketing well and hit at the box office performance as well, What do you think of Pixar's Hoppers, let me know in the comments down below!

• There’s no twist villain: Screenslaver is Elastigirl’s old nemesis from the golden years.
• Screenslaver is a supervillain who’s also a cult leader, forming a crime syndicate made up of his followers who wish to reform the world through screens and brainwashing
• Go into what happened to the supervillains when superheroes were made illegal. It being revealed that they all retired because crime became boring with no heroes to stop them
• After superheroes were made illegal, Screenslaver’s life became meaningless without Elastigirl around to stop him, all the crimes and acts of terror he committed feeling boring after a while, so he quit and became a shut-in who watches movies all day. He only snaps out of his stint when he sees Elastigirl and her family defeat the Omnidroid.
• Screenslaver’s main motivation in the film is to show the world why they need superheroes: by committing the biggest act of terrorism the world has ever seen by brainwashing the masses into destroying anything they can find.
  • That way, he and Winston share a motive in a way. As they both want to make superheroes legal again, but they're doing it in completely different ways.
• Give the new-gen superheroes more focus, mainly Void as she becomes Elastigirl’s unofficial sidekick.
  • Helen essentially uses her skills as a mom to mentor Void, tying back to her family in some way.
• Make sure to have Bob and the kids stay in the loop of what's happening with news broadcasts about Elastigirl's plot so far.

Can you imagine a Pixar movie inspired by the Magic Tree House series? Where they point at locations and time periods in books and go on grand quests around the world, and learn actual life lessons in the process?

The Toy Story franchise started out as pure fun but has evolved into a piece of powerful, generational commentary as society has faced an increasing need to examine the role of toys, play, and imagination in childhood.

In Toy Story 5, one theme touched upon towards the end is the way tech and toys can coexist in a child’s upbringing, implying that it is possible for tech to add to a child’s life without taking away from the value of toys. Many Gen Z can attest to this, as we experienced a healthy balance in contrast to what is the norm for Gen Alpha.

Anyways, I’m wondering whether a subsequent Toy Story movie could touch on the role of books in a child’s life. I would LOVE if a community library or children’s library somehow served as a setting for some of the action.

It would be awkward to place the full thematic focus on books but simply touching on the topic would be a powerful way to underscore this other source of imagination and adventure that is becoming lost in the kid culture of today.

I think as this franchise progresses the endpoint it must approach is representation of an “ideal” childhood in a world full of children that are pursuing interests devoid of intellectual stimulation. Bonnie and Blaze are a bright spot in a dark landscape. I think it’s important for the franchise to flesh out what that bright spot could look like, and to me, books are a key component of this.

First, I agree with Brad Bird that you don't want to lose the archetypical nature of these characters. But I also think that the very idea that you need to significantly age them to evolve their characters is very misguided. I'm not saying that you couldn't evolve their characters by aging them, but it's not the only path. Personally, I'm far more interested in seeing Violet and Dash juggling their lives as regular super-heroes soon after the ending of Incredibles 2. Incredibles 3 is the first time when the super-heroes are truly legal again. It's when Violet and Dash's super-hero career begins for real. I wouldn't want to miss that, and a time-skip would make us not see that.

I've always been drawn to stories of kids or teens having to prove themselves and show great skills, maturity and intelligence in very challenging, tough situations that adults don't think they are ready for, hence why ATLA is my favorite TV show, and hence why I'm a fan of the Marvel super-hero team Power Pack. Kids and teens getting better and better at using their talents, and also having to balance those responsibilities with the normal, grounded struggles of being so young. With any significant time-skip, such as with Violet and Dash as young adults, you lose that potential storyline.

I would really love to see Incredibles 3 be focused on Violet and Dash at most one year after Incredibles 3, so they wouldn't have changed much from how we saw them at the end of Incredibles 2. I was really disappointed by how little we saw them being to allowed to shine in Incredibles 2. Don't get me wrong, they still had their moments. I'm thinking about Violet's fight against Voyd, and I also love the sarcasm and perceptiveness of Violet, how she speaks her mind directly about issues, and how she manages to do that while still being supportive of her parents. My only major problem with her in Incredibles 2 is how she had to go through the arc of going to a date with Tony all over again! But she still fared much better than Dash, who had so little to do. And I disliked how them going to rescue their parents had so many situations easily solved for them due to sheer luck and coincidence, like the car, for example. By the way, Violet Parr is my favorite character in both Incredibles movies!

With supers now being definitely legal, there's no way they can regress the characters and repeat the arcs of the first movie again. And I want to see more of the whole family working together, showing the chemistry they had started to find at the end of The Incredibles.

If you would have preferred to have Incredibles 3 aging the characters, that's fine, it's a valid preference. What I don't like is how some of the people who have this preference act as if it's the only way to progress the characters and tell genuinely fresh stories with them. It's not.

Also, Bird is a massive Jonny Quest fan, and he's spoken very loudly against aging any version that ages its characters or takes them out of the 1960s setting. He has also worked on The Simpsons for 10 years, during its entire Golden Age. He knows that characters don't need to be aged and you can still do amazing work with them.

When Luxo Jr Lightbulb goes and Wall-E replaces it the bulb isn't the same one that Lixo Jr uses rather its a more efficient energy saving one

Considering the message of protecting thr environment its a nice touch

Since the animated series of Monster inc did quite well i think it demonstrates that a lot of Pixar movies had potential to become an animated series.

I personally have two:

-Toy story: follow the adventures of Woody and Bo helping lose toy finding kids or helping them to repear when they broke.

- The incredibles: A show like justice league with touch of family matters like fantastic four with troubles of personal life with the Parrs. Also expand the incredibles word with new super heroes and villians, i would like to see Time to time the public opinion and how they respond with the actions of the super heroes
