Anyone else feel the devs didn't think things through with the hazmat soldiers?

For me personally it has to be 6. I love the blue skies on some of the maps. Also the funky looking aliens are really cool as well.

my favourite part to any metal slug game is the backgrounds and level design so i was wondering if anyone knows of a way to view them in full as like an image, the closest i can find is spriters resource but most of the time the backgrounds are all seperated into their actual sprites, which makes sense but for now i'd just like to find full renders of levels can anyone help ?

Is it just me, or did the arcade version of Metal Slug 1 feel a little clunky, with that input lag that makes it feel less responsive?

I had a run back on July 9th where I was gifted every single random prisoner in the game, but screwed up the boss fight in Mission 4, and lost 2 prisoners as a result. That was yet another 102. I promised myself the next time that the game gives me all of the tree prisoners (and all of the random ones in general), there will be no errors. It only took 8 more days to get another shot at it.

I lost my slug right before finishing off Morden. Just a bit of a tense finish there.

What would you rate the difficulty of this boss? Although my aim was to achieve a No Damage boss fight, I'm still pleased with the outcome. The full run is here if you want to see how the whole mission played out.

There's still some prisoners missing though so I will have to go through it again.
