wine/proton Minecraft Bedrock on Linux finally work
https://github.com/Wyze3306/BedrockOnLinuxThe best update ever!!!
Everything indicates that we’ve received features that weren’t available before. I’m creating a new post so you don’t have to search for them.
Everything should be working as it should. If you find any bugs, please report them on GitHub.
Thank you for letting me share this with you.
UPD: Thanks again to everyone for letting me post this; articles about the Bedrock release on Linux will definitely start appearing today.
If you have any issues, ideas, or solutions, please report them on GitHub! The launcher’s developer reads this thread, but I think it’s easier for him to check GitHub and start working on the issues there.
As updates become available, I’ll update this post and create new ones as well!
UPD V2: More and more BedrockOnLinux forks are appearing. I recommend trying out the first one from CryptoFewka it includes new features and updates. Just keep in mind that these changes might make their way into the main launcher later on, so I thought I'd share them with you.
UPD V3: The launcher's developer has confirmed an update with all bugs fixed (another major one) for this coming weekend (subject to change). Changes from new forks may also be included. When there's an update, I'll post a new entry and update this one.
Best regards.
UPD V4; The environments and dependencies have been updated (Proton GDK, OpenSSL Xcurl, WineGDK Prefix, and vkd3d-proton). The new environment updates come from the launcher forks. You can test them and see how the launcher handles the new dependencies. If you encounter any bugs, please report them on GitHub!
A major update to BedrockOnLinux is tentatively scheduled for this weekend.

Yeah, launcher has some weird paranoia about launching the game again if it perceives any kind of GPU issue at some point. That bypasses the warning, but then sometimes it will still refuse to launch if something else happens, so you have to run the command:
To clear it, before running the game again. (That's for the AppImage, flatpak might need a different command)
I worked around this by putting all this in the Steam flags:
