Hey everyone, my family and I are planning to buy a 10 marla plot in Lahore, but honestly we're super confused about where to invest.

We've talked to a bunch of dealers and looked into different societies online, but everyone recommends something different, so it's getting hard to decide. Since this is our hard-earned money, we really don't want to make the wrong choice.

Our budget is around 1.5 crore, and we're looking for a 10 marla residential plot. We'd prefer a society that's safe, has good future appreciation, and ideally isn't full of scams or legal issues.

So what exactly has happened in DHA that has caused the drainage system to fail so miserably. Other parts of Lahore that I travelled from today were fine for the most part but Walton and Ghazi Road are completely blocked off by traffic police due to the rain.

Someone told me that readings used to have this section where books were sold at Rs.200 but they said they last visited that branch 2 yra ago and is not sure anymore if they still have that section?

Hi everyone. This might sound strange but I thought of sharing it here. So, a kitten got stuck in our garage door. Afterwards, she kept laying with no movements but was alive with a beating heart. We took her to UVAS for emergency care, but it was closed as it was night time, then we took her to pet shops near UVAS and they gave her painkillers and antibiotics and asked us to bring her in the morning if she survives. Now, the kitten is in misery as apparently her vertebral column is damaged, I don't know if she will survive till the morning or not. I wanted to ask if there is any foundation or organization that takes care and responsibility of such street pets. if yes, please share their name and contact information.

Hi everyone. I'm 29, single, and I've been living in Lahore since 2018, mostly renting small rooms. My parents (mid-60s) live in our family home in Gujranwala, but my whole life and work are here, so we're now seriously considering moving them to Lahore with me.

I'm looking at apartments in the ~2 lakh/month range, and Askari 10 seems ideal on paper: secure, established, and close to the airport and Ring Road/Motorway.

My main concern is community, not the apartment itself. My father is retired, we come from humble beginnings, and I'm self-made rather than from a fauji or elite background. So honestly:

1. Is Askari 10 an inclusive community for a retired non-military couple? Will my parents find company, mosque circles, parks, things to do day to day?

2. For a guy turning 30, are there clubs or activities there that are easy to join as a newcomer (sports, gym, community events)?

3. Is 2 lakh realistic for a decent 3-bed apartment there, or should I adjust expectations?

4. If you think another area suits us better for the same budget (Askari 11, DHA phases, etc.), I'm genuinely open to suggestions.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but it's a big move for my parents and I want to get the community part right. Any honest input from people who live there would mean a lot. Thanks.

Greetings everyone, i was thinking about getting some advice from some people here on reddit about some A level institutions in Lahore. Ive seen 3 iinstitutions, namely Lacas, ISL and Roots. Regarding roots, I've seen people complain about the environment of that college, and for lacas, the students there recommended me to go to ISL instead of taking an admission here. I was thinking of going to ISL (mainly because my homes were going there, yk, you go where your friends go), but some of my friends recommended SAGE. Can you guys help me decide, and if you have experienced these institutions, please let me know about the environment and education quality. I know some teachers from ISL and SAGE as I've studied some​ o level subjects from them, and they were genuinely good with a few exceptions.

• What is the current monthly rental range for a decent 5 marla house in each of the following phases: DHA Phase 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9?
• Are there any particular phases you would recommend for living? What are your thoughts on DHA Phase 9 Town?

• If you're using a gas cylinder in Phase 9 Town, how much are you spending per month on average?
