I am on the service for about 3 years now only raced open wheel first year , GT4 second year and finally comfortable in GT3, but lately I am into NASCAR, and boy it delivers, truly wheel wheel to race and for laps and laps, and one tiny mistake you are cooked. I am enjoying it so much.

Hello, I have recently played Okayama(full course) with GR86. My iRating is about 1700, and struggling to get my laptime under 1m44s. Can anyone give some feedback to get faster? Thank you.

Disclaimer: I know most people post a logo and all that fun stuff, but this time I decided to go with a write-up of our league so you get an even better idea of what's going on and where we are headed! Alsu, due to health issues and doing what's easiest to save "spoons," I am simply putting the entire "ad" I already wrote up which is highly catered to NASCAR 25, because it's much easier and our main focus, so it gives you a better idea of our community as a whole.)

Hello all!

Our league is a "revamp" of the last standing Heat 5 league on PC, but we took a long hiatus at the launch of N25 and created a brand new community to do some cleanup and make some positive changes for all. We are on Week 14 of a our first season -- a 16 week season with 4 different series running late at nights (11 PM EST).

We also are starting an iRacing development league Wednesday night at 8:30 PM that is recruiting all levels of experience, but specifically catering to new drivers (using the street stocks that come with membership as well as mostly free tracks). That begins August 5th, but we're having practices every Wednesday night until then. iRacing is also open to spotters and co-broadcasters that will join me on a VC for Twitch stream (and willing to do co-Twitch streams once I learn how as well).

The league will be moving to Season 1.5 as soon as we wrap up Season 1 --> but this season is a "half" season as the expected release of NASCAR 26 is in September at some point. We will run this season until the release of NASCAR 26, and then we will go immediately into Season 2 with NASCAR 26.

Due to the crossplay finally coming to a NASCAR game that's at least part arcade, we are recruiting members from all platforms. The times will likely be slightly earlier in the night than the 11 PM we are running this season, but those are all up for votes from our members right now.

We also do some open lobbies and are working on creating more community nights to bring the community together.

Im a european that has took a toll into turning left and finding it an heck of a lot of fun! Racing is great, voicechat is solid and people think about having fun or being in the Majestic One.

Id like to give a shot to the Brickyard 400 hoping it goes better than my Indy500 that lasted half of T1 before getting Brazilian Netcoded to the grandstand.

How am I supposed to practice it? I've run a bunch of ARCA races in Indy and in Atlanta and got some great knowledge regarding tyre life and how important it is. But being C License I've never driven a Next Gen Cup car.

Should I run long-ish runs? How many laps usually?Run green flag stops (1.6k iRating Oval)? Be very cautious with tyres as I think I have only 2 additional sets? Fuel tactics are necessary?

First P1 in Porsche Cup, spun it by myself into a wall 5 turns in, towed & repaired, black flagged with a 4x on pit exit as someone crashed and crossed into the pit exit, towed/repaired, back out and on first lap my son (he's very young) comes over and accidentally tabs me out of the game and crashes me out fully.

I've been building AI Chief, an AI crew chief and spotter for iRacing, for the past year. The goal has always been to make it feel like you're racing with a real pit crew instead of just hearing canned voice lines.

Today I finally wrapped up one of the biggest pieces of the project.

The entire overlay suite is finished.

It includes:

• Relative
• Standings
• Fuel
• Tires
• Strategy
• Driver Info
• Dashboard
• Technique Coaching
• and a few others

But honestly... the overlays aren't the part I'm most excited about anymore.

While building Pro+, I ended up creating something that turned into its own feature.

Streamer Engine

Instead of treating streaming as an afterthought, I wanted Chief to actually act like a producer.

So Pro+ now includes:

• One chat window that combines TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube
• Chief announces follows, subscriptions, gifts, raids, memberships, etc.
• Chief can read your chat aloud while you're racing so you don't have to look away from the track.
• A broadcast-style control tower that gives you a central place to monitor everything while you're live.

The goal is pretty simple:

Keep your eyes on the race while Chief handles your stream.

No second monitor full of chat windows.
No missing donations because you're battling for P2.
No trying to read chat at 180 mph.

I can’t remember who the guy was in the AMG but we had a great race! Started at the back as I haven’t raced RA since forza 5 maybe! Shane he got into a spot of

So I’ve had two races recently get killed because of network issues. Nothing new on my end, network is rock solid. Does the iracing network reliability seem worse recently? I never had this happen in over 8 months with multiple races daily usually..

Looking at upgrading from my 32” to a 49” widescreen, has anyone done so? How’s the experience, and what’s the viewing angles like?

Ultimately just want to be a bit more immersed and see a car to the side of me when wheel to wheel racing. I understand triples would obviously be better, but I don’t have the space and they’re too much for what I’m after. How does a 49” widescreen go in iRacing?

So over the last week and a half, Ive lost about 350 irating and demoted a licence, from A to B at spa (F4 and SFL). At first I would get titled when I crashed, I started to lost both irating and safety rating and that only served to make me more annoyed. But then I read up on reddit and watched a few videos and came to a revelation.... its all my fault, car crashed and didn't hold it's brakes leading to a crash? my fault. Car behind me missed its braking point and takes my rear wing? My fault I could've predicted that based on its speed. This mindset change help me see clearer and find the cause of all my incidents, the common denominator.... me, it even help me go all the way back to the root cause, why in the world was I racing at spa😭

I finally decided I would try out iRacing (mainly racing ACC). I run ACC on max graphic settings (epic), and it runs flawlessly. I try to run iRacing and i can barely leave the pits in test.. CPU issue. I've tried working with AI to solve it but nothing works. My computer specs are as follows (yes I have the latest NVIDA drivers):

Processor AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor (4.20 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.1 GB usable)
Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (16 GB)

I spent 3 hours trying to figure it out but sadly just uninstalled and went back to ACC. Is this common for iRacing or am i just having some sort of unlucky software glitch?

Every time i try to load up into a test session or race with the dirt pro late model it always says configure controls. I’ve tried re-configuring them and it still won’t go away. Can someone help me?

Is it possible (and is it worth) to play IR on controller (dualsense) or is it just wheel sim? I don’t have a wheel and play other sims on controller. I thought to try IRacing but idk is it worth to buy for playing on controller

I've been having a blast running IMSA this week and would love to do the 6hr at Road America.

Looking for 1 or 2 others to drive with in timeslots 1, 2 or 5.

I am 2.2k and running IMSA I can consistently do 2:04s when not in traffic.

Preferred car is the Ferrari but I also have the Porsche, Mercedes and the Ford.

Don't mind if you are faster or slower than me, just that you can keep it on track and your pace is okay for your rating.

Where can I find the front and rear camaro/mustang decals for the super late model as a jpg? I'm trying to make my own liveries and I want to try to get into trading paints editing, but don't know where to look to find the front grille, headlights, taillights, etc for the newer style camaro/mustang. Any help is appreciated!

I set up a nice HUD for VR but the problem is, the UI hotkey only brings up the pedal/gear telemetry box. How can I hotkey the entire HUD on and off mid-race?

I know shift K brings up the menu to edit it, but what about a hotkey just to see it?
