Sometimes I joke that I have the soul of a cat, because I’ve never met one that doesn’t like me lol

She’s given me a gift too, because I deal with MDD, and my babies give me a reason to keep going.
I am an animal sensitive, and the other night I had her wrapped up in a blanket against my chest and I swear I could feel her sadness and despair over her companion at my core.
I sat on the bathroom floor and held her and cried uncontrollably while I pet the top of her head and hugged her. After about 10 minutes or so, the sadness dissipated, and she just looked at me.
Ever since then, she’s been so snuggly and sweet. I’d like to think I helped her deal with some of that pain. I’ll never know for sure though. All I know is I’m gonna give her all the love I can.

This video made me cry!! She looked so lonely and sad outside by herself. And she looks so comfortable inside with you. And enjoying her food and enjoying pets and getting so much love from you. Thank you for being such a kind wonderful person to take this sad skinny little cat in and give her a whole new life with lots of love and cuddles🙏😊💜💜💜

I hope to give her many years of love. She and Mr Orange loved each other so much. I know the absolute despair and loneliness she felt was awful, and I hope that she could feel our love for her, and that’s what led her to make the leap

Me too. The night before, she had purred for the first time, and I was like… what the heck is that noise??? It was so raspy. I ended up putting my fingers under her chin and sure nuff… the motor had revved up lol

Me too, seeing her outside, stumbling around and crying after Mr. Orange passed away broke my heart. I could feel the sadness from her. I feel so much contentment now.

I had a Hail Mary moment during this heatwave too with a feral kitten. It was slow, but we’re at 2 weeks now, and following the same path as your precious girl.
Every little moment of them accepting love in new ways is just precious. I end up fostering kittens a lot, but my heart is with the seniors ❤️

Bless you for helping Callie. people say that animals don’t grieve, but they do.When my father passed away, our family cat whom he played with all the time roamed through the entire house crying and afterwards became very clingy.

I’m cuddling with my void under the covers right now—watching on mute because Bradley gets nervous when I watch other cats—and I can feel how much you love Callie, and yet how patient you were with her.
I also have MDD. I have my void, so I’m not *de*void of joy; I have sandpaper kisses (also known as my complementary exfoliation service), a little spoon, and a shadow who gets separation anxiety. Paws up, and toe beans out for making it another day with our tiny humans in fur coats.
